Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

• Grade 12

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2 - 3 years experience in Paint Products

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Ensure efficient customer service to walk-in clients at the branch.
• Ensure that customers are made aware of additional products to enhance sales.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure that stock is ordered from the supplier or procurement.
• Take receipt of stock and ensure correct countsReceive stock from receiving department and ensure correct pricing.
• Conduct stock counts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES

• Good knowledge of AFGRI Retail’s product range
• Computer literacyCustomer Service
• Policies and procedures
• Excellent knowledge of mixing paint
• Current client base will be an advantage

Description

• AFGRI Equipment is seeking a reliable and disciplined Picker and Packer to join our Equipment branch.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing stock, assisting with stock control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• A valid driver’s licence

Key Performance Areas

• Accurately pick parts stock according to picking slips and prepare for dispatch.
• Pack parts stock according to company policy and ensure correct labelling.
• Assist with stocktaking, stock counting, replenishment, and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Transport parts to and from designated locations as required.

• Ability to read and write
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
