Responsibilities:

• Project Management of a very high profile project currently underway
• Preparation of road designs, bill of quantities, contract documentation and tender evaluation
• Ensure the project is undertaken to a quality management system of high technical standards
• Ensure the project is completed within budget
• Design oversight, support and management to the project team

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Degree in Civil Engineering (MSc preferred)
• Minimum 15 years’ experience within a Consulting Engineering environment
• Must be Professionally Registered with ECSA
• Demonstrate a high level of experience working and Project Managing SANRAL projects in particular
• Strong background in Geometric Design on major road projects

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the Asset Management department.
• Ensure the optimal use of department resources.
• 2.13.1 appointment, holding legal responsibility for all engineering activities on site.
• Active member of the Executive Committee.
• Manage and control health and safety, environmental and quality for all employees and contractors.
• Manage IT and related resources.
• Mentoring and coaching subordinates.

 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Government Certificate of Competency (Mines) essential.
• Registration with professional body essential.
• 10 years minimum experience in engineering and asset management on large scale mining operations for both fixed and mobile plant.
• Well-versed in computerised maintenance management systems.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
• This position is only open to South African citizens currently residing in South Africa.

• Ensure effective asset management for the mine.
• Ensure legal compliance according to the mining charter.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Medically fit.
• Valid driver’s licence.
