Description

• Ecowize is looking for a licensed and experienced Driver to join the Supply Chain team in Cape Town. The Driver will be responsible for delivering and collecting a variety of items to various locations. Regular and clear communication to all parties involved in the transport process is a crucial part of the skill set required.

High-level Job Objectives:

• Complete delivery schedules and report incidents.
• Load and unload cargo
• Adhere and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Be pro-active in providing feedback and solutions to all parties relating to on time delivery of orders to sites.
• Identify and communicate own development gaps to ensure consistent high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow routes and time schedule to ensure deliveries take place on time.
• Ensure correct stock was issued and dispatched daily.
• Ensure that accurate Proof Of Delivery (POD) records are kept and handed back to the administration office for filing
• Effectively manage customer complaints.
• Do daily checks on vehicles and report potential safety issues or service needs.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles containing a variety of supplies, materials and equipment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and take action where necessary
• Highlight possible areas of concern to direct manager and category manager pro-actively and suggest action plan.
• Escalate current issues to direct manager and indicate level of priority and suggested plan of action.
• Identify and communicate own development gaps to ensure consistent high performance in line with company goals.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid PDP and DG Licence (Professional Driving Permit and Dangerous Goods Licence)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in handling deliveries
• At least 2 years’ general business exposure
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the hygiene and cleaning industry will be an advantage

Description

• Purpose is to oversee the work activities of the hygiene team to ensure that the site is handed over to the client according to required hygiene standards. Responsible for training the hygiene team in using all equipment and chemicals in a safe manner. Responsible for site safety and making sure that teams perform tasks timeously.

Summary of responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage a team to produce a food-safe site, daily. 
• Manage and achieve the Budgeted Man-hours and Purchases in their Section. 
• Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment with compliance to all statutory safety regulations. 
• Manage individual and team performance; coach and develop staff. 
• Responsible for all Operational activities in their section, including operational problem solving. 
• Maintain Customer relationship; meet Customer expectations and eliminate plant damage & downtime. 

Requirements
Job Requirements: 

• Grade 12.  
• Deep Cleaning experience is essential. 
• Chemical Stock control experience is essential. 
• Have exposure to Industrial Relations. 
• High-Quality administrative skills required. 
• Be flexible to work at various sites as requested on short notice.
