    Account Manager SADC

    Your mission:

    • As an Account Manager in the Business Sales division of Epson, you will develop and implement the business sales plan for designated resellers, distributors and end users throughout the SADC region, to generate business growth and maximise sales of Epson business print and projector products.

    What you will do:

    Sales:

    • Promote the complete Epson range to increase Epson sales growth into specific reseller and end user markets
    • Set targets, business objectives and commercial terms for accounts to deliver the financial and non financial goals on sales growth.
    • Promote End User accounts as specified by the sales managers.
    • Identify and qualify new opportunities for growth in the accounts.
    • Efficient administration to ensure prompt payments made by channel partners.
    • Ensure the timely collection of sales and inventory data to identify key target end users for Epson sales activity
    • Account planning with aligned channel partners in order to identify and qualify new opportunities for growth

    Marketing:

    • Agree and review marketing plans that maximise sales and deliver the Epson strategy.
    • Ensure optimal implementation of the generic marketing campaigns within accounts.
    • Track ROI of campaigns run in conjunction with channel partners.

    Communication and Reporting:

    • Input to the forecasting process.
    • Collate competitive marketplace information. Provide structured feedback and review promotional activities with this knowledge.
    • Manage daily and weekly activities to meet agreed targets.
    • Provide monthly summary of highlights, issues and actions for each account.
    • Co-ordinate assistance from other teams to provide resource, as required for the specified accounts.
    • Work effectively with the Reseller/End User team to optimise Epson’s sales.
    • Ensure that CRM data is received correctly and in required timeframes from all accounts.

    What we ask for:

    • Record of success selling IT hardware throughout SADC region
    • Reseller/distributor account management experience
    • Business print and/or projector product experience is beneficial
    • Willingness to travel regularly to SADC countries

    Technical Manager - Data Services

    Your mission:

    • As the Technical Manager – Data Services, you will be a key member of our technical team, responsible for overseeing, designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting Epson’s database solutions, leveraging SQL Server, Fabric, PowerApps and the Microsoft Power Platform. You will play a crucial role in delivering innovative applications and business process automation solutions that empower our organization to achieve its goals and drive efficiency.
    • This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and efficient operation of database platforms.

    What you will do:

    Database Design and Management:

    • Design, implement, and manage SQL Server databases to support business operations and applications.
    • Develop database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions to meet business requirements.

    Data Integration and ETL:

    • Implement ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources into SQL Server databases.
    • Develop data migration scripts and workflows to facilitate seamless data transfer and transformation.

    PowerApps Development:

    • Design and develop PowerApps applications to automate business processes, streamline workflows, and improve productivity.
    • Customize and extend PowerApps using Power Platform connectors, formulas, and expressions.

    Power Platform Solutions:

    • Utilize the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents) to build end-to-end solutions that leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights.
    • Integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems and applications to enhance functionality and usability.

    Application Development and Customization:

    • Develop custom solutions and applications using Microsoft technologies, including .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
    • Customize and extend existing applications, interfaces, and workflows to meet evolving business needs.

    Quality Assurance and Testing:

    • Conduct thorough testing of SQL databases, PowerApps, and Power Platform solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
    • Identify and address defects, bugs, and performance issues through debugging and troubleshooting.

    Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

    • Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes for internal reference and knowledge sharing.
    • Provide training and support to team members on SQL, PowerApps, and Power Platform development best practices.

    Semantic Model Development:

    • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI semantic models, including data modeling, relationships, and DAX calculations, to ensure efficient and accurate data analysis. 

    Data Pipeline Implementation:

    • Build and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows Gen2, Data Factory, and other relevant Fabric components, to ingest, transform, and load data into the semantic model. 

    SQL Expertise:

    • Utilize SQL for data querying, manipulation, and transformation within the Fabric environment, including working with SQL databases and Synapse Data Warehouse. 

    Power BI Dashboard Development:

    • Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI, incorporating data from the semantic model and other relevant sources. 

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other team members to gather requirements, communicate insights, and ensure the successful delivery of data solutions. 

    Performance Optimization:

    • Optimize the performance of Power BI reports, semantic models, and data pipelines to ensure efficient and scalable solutions. 

    Data Governance and Security:

    • Implement and maintain data governance and security practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance. 

    Cloud Platform Management:

    • Manage and maintain the Fabric environment, including configuring compute, storage, and other resources, while also monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues. 

    Staying Current:

    • Keep up to date with the latest features and updates in Power BI, Fabric, and related technologies, and recommend best practices for their implementation.

    What we ask for:

    • Experience with SQL database management and support
    • Experience of .NET programming language and Visual Studio
    • Experience of data modelling with SQL Server, Query Analyzer, Enterprise Management Studio
    • Previous participation in software projects and software solution implementations
    • Understanding of business process modelling and analysis
    • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
    • Understanding of IT project management standards (PMI / Prince2)
    • Strong understanding of Power BI, including semantic model design, DAX, and data visualization best practices.

    Technical Sales Specialist (Presales) - Print & Projection

    Your mission:

    • The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for providing high-level technical sales expertise to the local sales teams, customers and channel partners. Understands the customer requirements to align and put them in scope with Epson’s product portfolio to provide solutions meeting and exceeding customer needs.
    • Feeding back the market needs/trends to the business for future product development cycle. 

    What you will do:

    • Engage and build relationships with customers, channel partners and their technical representatives early in the sales cycle and throughout the sales process to understand their business needs and solution objectives.
    • Develop an understanding of customer requirements and formulate a product/system proposal based on the company’s sales strategy and product potential. Delivering more value to the customers at better margins through optimally defined solutions.
    • Manage the technical discussion / negotiation process with the customer and any linked external service provider.  
    • Work with Central BU to execute strategy and feedback market information for future product planning, 
    • RFI/RFP/Tender contribution/input 
    • Manage customization and integration projects as required  
    • Manage Beta tests prior to launch with selected customers and resellers 
    • Provide 2nd line troubleshooting to customers and channel partners.
    • Provide an in-depth understanding of new products, software and drivers for the purpose of supporting customers 
    • Provide Technical Support expertise and demonstrate equipment at sales exhibitions and events. 
    • Support local sales team, customers and channel partners with product information and updates in line with launch and product life cycle 
    • Manage the demo inventory for demo/seeding; support demos and exhibitions.

    What we ask for:

    • Computer Science graduate/Technical Support Engineer background

    Business CRM Specialist

    Your mission:

    • As the CRM Specialist, you will act as a strategic partner and subject-matter expert for CRM across the region. You will drive adoption and optimization of MS Dynamics 365, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and translate business requirements into scalable CRM solutions.
    • In this role, you will proactively analyze business processes, identify opportunities for automation and enhancement, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure CRM is leveraged to its full commercial and operational potential.
    • Furthermore, This is a functional leadership role, requiring a blend of strong business acumen, advanced technical understanding, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and geographies.

    What we ask for:

    • Strong understanding of data architecture, relational databases, and data quality management.
