    Senior Specialist: Legal

    Role Description

    • Supports and advises the business, with a key focus on stakeholder-related agreements including, but not limited to, tender documents, services agreements, consultancy agreements, interconnection agreements, collaboration agreements, supply agreements, offnet agreements, cession agreements and reseller agreements. Responsible for the end-to-end management and legal risk mitigation of all cession related work. Writes legal opinions as a legal expert on issues of major significance to the business. Ensures technical accuracy of documents drafted by this role, ensuring that the latest legal precedents have been included in the documents, so as to manage legal risk. This is achieved by doing regular research and staying abreast of all major legal developments. Provides concise, accurate, timeous legal advice to the business.Ensures that all risks are sufficiently addressed in agreements entered by Liquid; understanding the requirements of business, legal issues and possible business risks and incorporating clauses in the agreements to address such risks and requirements. At all times ensure that sufficient legal knowledge has been obtained and updated with latest legal developments to ensure that they are correctly reflected in the agreements drafted.
    • Draft/Review/Advise on policies and standard business terms on an ad hoc basis. Assist in structuring, negotiating & drafting legal agreements and documentation relating to standard agreements and transactions. Manage all legal aspects of customer contract negotiations and raise all risks to the Executive: Legal and
    • Contracts and Chief Legal & Compliance Officer. Consider, comment, negotiate and give advice on documents/ agreements for the business. Give legal advice on transactions or deals to be done, or transactions that have been concluded. Conduct legal due diligence to identify and minimize potential legal risks. Provide advice on legality, the lawfulness and enforceability of agreements and documents by keeping abreast with the latest current legal and commercial laws/policies/regulations/affairs. Correctly direct commercial issues within the company and in accordance with the directions and timing requirements of the internal customer.
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business and become a trusted advisor within Liquid. As subject-matter expert, engage on all legal concepts,clauses in agreements and risks to internal and external clients. Provide training that is beneficial / informative to internal clients by way of presentations, such as training on new legislation or recent legal precedents. Attend external meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss legal matters that impact the business and to also
    • stay abreast of the developments within stakeholder’s respective areas. Participates in negotiations with both clients and service providers on contractual terms and conditions of agreements. 
    • Recognizes areas for internal improvement within the legal department and develop plans for implementation. Draft, maintain and periodically review Standard Terms or template documentation, to deal with legal risk trends and opportunities and further advise on any legal issues arising from these. Advise on the legal effects on policy proposals (internal andexternal).Ensure alignment of policies and processes with the legal department. Ensures that the repository of all Legal documents is filed on the Drive / SharePoint or in required folders.

    Requirements

    • LLB (Bachelor of Laws): Essential
    • Admission as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa: Essential
    • 5 years general commercial and legal experience: Essential
    • 5 years exposure to litigation at a reputable law firm: Essential
    • Information and Communications and Technology Industry: Desirable
    • Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as legislation, regulations, business documents, system documents, company policies, and procedures:Essential

    Specialist: Bid

    Role Description

    • To manage the bid qualification (bid Go / No Go) process for new opportunities.Liaise with internal teams and get inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.Provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution design.Manage information database and collate all information required for the bid process.Responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements.
    • Manage bids in accordance with the LTSA Bid Process, using related supporting tools and systems.Manage all aspects and stages of the bid, including coordination of:
    • Initiation and planning,Kick-off,Solution Definition,Content Development,Response Consolidation,Team Reviews,Quality Control,Management Review and Authorisation,Package and Deliver,Post-submission Administration,Bid Revisions,Bid Award,Win/Loss Review.
    • Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final proposal to the customer.Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation.Engaging with respective cross-functional divisions within the organization on the information required for the submissions for tenders.Collaborates with Supply Chain Management to coordinate requests to subcontractors.
    • Set up files to ensure that all tender information is appropriately documented and secured.Establish a communication schedule to update relevant stakeholders including internal teams in the organization on the progress of the tender.Review the quality of the work completed with the cross-functional divisions and the Bid Manager on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the tender specifications.

    • Matric:Essential 
    • Prince 2 Foundation Certification:Desirable
    • APMP Foundation or Practitioner level:Desirable
    • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in Bid Management.

    Cloud Solutions Architect - Google Workspace

    Description

    • A Google Workspace (GWS) Cloud Solutions Architect transforms business objective into tangible Google Workspace configurations, policies, and security practices as they relate to users, content, and integrations. This includes, among others, the GWS solution life cycle – GWS SKU selection, design, management, and monitoring of the solution that meets the customers’ requirements.
    • The incumbent is responsible for defining tasks, scope and effort obtained during customer engagement session and the subsequent production of high level and low-level design documents and other technical project related artefacts. This extends to the delivery of hands-on, business-oriented strategic and technical consulting to our clients for GWS solutions. 

    Requirements

    Qualifications 

    • Degree in IT or Engineering related field and post-Graduate. - Essential
    • Professional Google Workspace Administrator. - Essential
    • Other Industry certifications e.g. Google Associate Cloud Engineer. - Preferred         

    Experience

    5-10 years experience in:

    • Supporting / Managing GWS environments o Demonstrable experience in architecting large-scale cloud migration projectso Demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi- system problemso Extensive experience in architecting enterprise public cloud solutionso Experience of working in a project team using an identified project management methodologyo In-depth knowledge of various IT and or Telecoms technology architecture domains and convergence.

    Cloud Solutions Architect – Google Cloud Platform

    Description

    • The main function of this position is to act as the senior technical authority for our Google Cloud Security portfolio.
    • This includes designing secure cloud architectures, leading technical pre-sales engagements, and translating customer requirements into robust, scalable security solutions. This role is key to defining the technical strategy for solutions built on or integrating with the Google Cloud security stack (e.g., Google Security Operations/Chronicle, Mandiant, Security Command Center, BeyondCorp Enterprise, etc.).
