Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations and financial planning & analysis.
• Manage the Balance Sheet, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Continuously improve policies, procedures, and controls to enhance financial efficiency.
• Support ad-hoc projects and requests as they arise.
• Provide leadership to the Finance Team and contribute to overall Management Team dynamics and relationships.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems that empower business operations, a hands-on approach when necessary, an analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and proven expertise in Financial Management.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an FM within a Manufacturing / FMCG environment with extensive & solid financial accounting experience.
• BCom Degree and completed SAIPA / SAICA Articles would be advantageous.
• Extensive ERP Experience - Syspro.
• Proven experience of leading a finance team of +- 12 people.
• Clear credit record - will be verified.

• You’ll also take responsibility for billing setup for new clients, all monthly recurring revenue and annuity income, credit notes, cash receipting and allocation, bad debt calculations, legal collections, and debtors reporting ensuring that any anomalies are identified and rectified timeously while working with the various billing systems and CRM.

Minimum requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting with specific focus on billing/ accounts receivable
• Strong database/ CRM and systems experience
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to communicate clearly and mentor others while being a team player
• Proven ability to work with deadlines and prioritize appropriately while working with accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in anomaly detection and resolution
• Strong business acumen
