    Tender Manager

    Job Description

    What you can expect

    Responsibilities:

    • Actively manages and takes ownership of the entire tender process from planning to final result.
    • In close cooperation with the Sales, Product Teams, and all other internal stakeholders, evaluates solution propositions, routings, capabilities, fusing all aspects into a tactical project plan.
    • Manages the coordination of this plan and takes ownership of those parts that fall under the Tender Management responsibility.
    • Guides and supports the Account Owner in the analysis of customers’ needs, including all tender related procedures outside the Tender Management area of responsibility, such as financial, legal, and compliance approval processes. (gatekeeper function).
    • Independently analyses all deliverables received from the larger Product, Pricing and P&L organization. Where needed advises, escalates and renegotiates rates with the global, regional and local management. 
    • Ensures that Tender reporting tool and dashboard are maintained correctly.
    • Drives continuous improvement through a strong tender follow-up with all stakeholders within the Tender Management process.

    Accountability and Performance Measures (deliverables):

    • Achieves both personal and team KPI’s in quantity and quality for all tenders assigned.
    • Takes ownership of the Tender Management Process for all tenders assigned.
    • Ensures on-time completion and in-full submission of Rehnus’ opportunity replies in near perfect quality.

    Organizational alignment:

    • This position reports directly into the Regional Head of Tender Management, indirectly into the Global Head of Tender Management, which falls under the responsibility of the Air and Ocean Product organization.

    What you bring

    • Has a comprehensive understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
    • Can take decisions independently related to the tender process.
    • Thinks highly analytically and can creatively translate complexity into clear instructions understood by all organizational levels.
    • Can effectively communicate in English and at least one other major language spoken in the region.
    • Has a strong understanding and practical know-how of coordinating various independent stakeholders under a tight deadline.
    • Is able to communicate on all organizational levels: is comfortable to guide local pricing teams, but can also converse easily with global or regional C-level functions.
    • Provides a professional project management in an international environment.
    • Minimum of University bachelor’s degree, or equivalent Tender Management / freight forwarding experience.
    • Experiences in various areas of freight forwarding (sales, operations, customer service etc.)
    • Advanced level MS Office (emphasis on excel) and business applications.

    (Senior) Technical Consultant (f/m/d) Blue Yonder

    We are looking for a Blue Yonder expert to join us a (Senior) Technical Consultant:

    You play a central role in the implementation and integration of IT WMS solutions by providing technical expertise and ensuring the technical execution of projects in Blue Yonder.

    • You analyze the technical requirements of our customers and, based on these, develop well-thought-out technical concepts including effort estimates and descriptions of technical work packages.
    • To achieve this, you work closely with Functional Consultants to makre sure that technical and functional requirements are properly aligned.
    • You also ensure the seamless integration of the Blue Yonder platform with other IT systems such as ERP and TMS solutions.
    • To guarantee stability and functionality, you test and validate planned changes and make any necessary adjustments.
    • Based on customer feedback and new requirements, you continuously enhance the platform and system solutions within Blue Yonder.

    What you bring

    • A completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification, e.g. as an IT specialist in application development or system integration.
    • Several years of project-related experience in the technical implementation and customization of Blue Yonder solutions.
    • You are confident in system integration and interface development and stand out with your solid knowledge of MOCA Commands, Jobs, GUI, and you are proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Perl, and HTML.
    • You are experienced with tools and systems such as Git, Visual Studio Code, MS SQL Server, and ideally also cloud technologies such as AWS and Docker. Additionally, IDEs like Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and LextEdit are familiar territory for you.
    • In addition, you are fluent in English and familiar with agile project methods. German skills are welcome but not required.
    • Lastly, you convince with your analytical thinking, structured working approaches, and confident demeanor when interacting with customers - team spirit included.

    (Senior) Solution Architect (f/m/d) Blue Yonder

    We are looking for a Blue Yonder expert to join us as a (Senior) Solution Architect:

    • You will take on both functional and technical responsibility for the design, architecture, and implementation of Blue Yonder WMS solutions in our customer projects.
    • In these projects, you play an active role: from requirements gathering to solution design and successful implementation.
    • You manage technical work packages, coordinate closely with various stakeholders (project teams, operations, and customer representatives), and ensure a smooth execution aiming for a high customer satisfaction.
    • You analyze complex logistics-related business processes and translate requirements into technical solution approaches within the Blue Yonder system landscape.
    • In doing so, you pay attention to scalability, flexibility, and integration capability of the solution and create technical specifications, architecture documentation, and implementation plans.
    • Through solution-oriented consulting and communication at eye level, you build long-term, trusting customer relationships.

    What you bring

    • Extensive experience with Blue Yonder solutions and in-depth knowledge of configurations, architecture, and integration.
    • A solid understanding of logistics processes and their mapping in IT systems enable you to efficiently solve complex requirements.
    • Several years of experience with integration architectures and ERP connections, and a proven track record in projects with customer-specific implementations.
    • Your strong communication skills and team spirit make you a valued contact for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • You consciously take on responsibility in a lateral leadership role, manage confidently, intervene decisively, work in a structured and well-documented manner, and maintain your high quality standards even under time pressure.
    • You are fluent in English and familiar with agile project methods. German skills are welcome but not required.
