    Production Coordinator

    The opportunity:

    • We are looking for a dynamic, creative and energetic Production Coordinator to join our Marketing team. Have you got what it takes?
    • TFG’s mission is to be the leading fashion lifestyle retailer in Africa whilst growing its international footprint by providing innovative products, creative customer experiences and by leveraging its portfolio of diverse brands to differentiate its offering.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the procurement, relationship and process with suppliers to ensure best service, quality, prices and technical support
    • Manage studio timing, workflow and resource to ensure critical paths and budgets are developed and met
    • Traffic of creative teams
    • Co-ordinate distribution of print and marketing collateral to numerous stores, both nationally and into Africa
    • Print and colour management
    • Production with regards to print, repro, props and art buying
    • Maintaining technical knowledge of current and new production processes, new substrates and suppliers
    • Art buying, agency liaison, shoot coordination and planning
    • Budget and cost centre management
    • Managing and reconciling all aspects of the annual budget
    • Manage stock levels of collateral with external suppliers
    • Accurate communication and feedback of materials and requirements to stores

    Requirements:

    • A strong flair for fashion and creativity
    • Ability to develop processes leveraging both best practices (internal and external) and critical thinking as well as identify areas for process improvement
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Deadline driven and the ability to handle pressure
    • The ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Pro-active planning and time management
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • High energy levels
    • Strong negotiation and motivation skills
    • Strong numeric and budgeting skills
    • Strong print, substrate and digital production knowledge.
    • Design, DTP and repro knowledge
    • Strong Excel, numerical and administrative abilities
    • Software knowledge essential: Excel and MS word
    • Knowledge of Chase and/or SAP would be useful
    • Apple Mac user

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Diploma or degree in Marketing or logistics (advantageous)
    • 4-5 years of experience in a Marketing Production role within ad agency or in-house Studio

    Brand Manager

    • We are looking for a dynamic, creative and energetic Brand Manager to join our Marketing team. Have you got what it takes?

    As the MARKHAM Brand Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

    • Ensure execution across the brand is aligned to the broader marketing strategy of Markham.
    • Be Customer obsessed – Collaborate with Insights and data analytics to identify trends, issues, opportunities for growth and development of the Markham brand and unexplored markets.
    • Build strong customer targeted strategies – retention, rewards, new markets.
    • Have a key understanding of digital marketing and the experience in social media as a communication channel. 
    • Have a key understanding of digital marketing and the experience in social media as a communication channel. 
    • Collaborate with all internal partners and external partners where needed to create, lead and brief promotion/media content in all channels. 
    • Work closely and collaborate with product and design & trend forecasting teams to constantly evolve the Markham brand. 
    • Own the collaboration strategy. Build a pipeline of brands and individuals that will build brand value for Markham.
    • A huge passion and drive to make a difference in SA with the ownership of the Markham CSI and Sustainability.
    • Ownership and evolution of the production and aesthetic for all seasonal brand campaigns with internal and external partners. 
    • Budget management for content creation and production, Social media  community management, purchasing of paid media, influencer and marketing strategies. 
    • Reporting of all above KPI’s and campaign success on a monthly basis to management teams. 

    Requirements:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification
    • Minimum 3-4 years working experience at a management level, incl. people / team management.
    • Minimum 6 years relevant retail / brand experience is essential
    • Proven track record and ability to market a brand by demonstrating innovative and creative thinking within this area.
    • Ability to persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to aggressive deadlines, incl. problem solving
    • Experience in campaign shoots, fashion production and creative directing desirable
    • Strong written and verbal communication at all levels of organisation
    • Proven leadership and people management ability
