    Temp Apprenticeship

    Position Description: 

    • This exciting career opportunity is suited to a highly motivated, hardworking, committed individual who is reliable, punctual and determined to succeed.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: 

    • Undergoing training in the trade of the Millwright apprenticeship and to qualify as an Artisan. 
    • Participating in the apprenticeship training programme. 
    • Delivery quality work always; and 
    • Performing allocated duties.  

    The successful candidate must preferably have the following skills and qualifications: 

     Skills Requirements 

    • Good technical problem-solving skills. 
    • Have proven verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Ability to work under pressure.

    • Sound knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. 

    Educational Requirements

    Materials Scheduler MRP

    Key performance areas include (but are not limited to):

    • Effective Supplier Relationship Management to ensure Purchase Orders are delivered On-Time-In-Full (OTIF)
    • Ensure accurate Vendor Records, material Master Data and Pricing
    • Create and or convert dependant Purchase Requisitions in SAP
    • Create Purchase Orders on SAP and effectively Communicate PO’s to Suppliers.
    • Confirm Delivery Dates and manage Delivery Status.
    • Assist with population of the Missing Parts report.
    • Run daily Procurement Routines and effectively and timeously manage Exception Messages.
    • Effectively managed material EOQ’s & MOQ’s.
    • Assist with the effective management of material Price Variances.
    • Analyse & take corrective action on Abnormal Purchase Requisitions (automated/manual).
    • Reduce Working Capital through optimized procurement practices.
    • Manage procurement routines for (NPD) & (PUG) post site handover.
    • Assist with site - Procurement Risk Management Routines and Control.
    • Perform the relevant Administration, Verification and Reporting functions
    • Actively participating in Planning Mini-Business and actively drives Continuous Improvement Initiatives

    The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

    • Tertiary qualification / NQF 6 (Focussing on Supply Chain Management and or Purchasing
    • 1-3 Years working experience in a procurement & buying environment
    • Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
    • Working knowledge of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) on an ERP suite (working knowledge of MRP on    SAP MM),
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Previous experience in procurement & buying environment
    • Sound interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Willingness to work extended hours if and when required.
    • Ability to analyse, interpret and compute sets of data
    • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in an organized and structured manner.
    • Must have reliable transport to and from work.

    Strategic Business Analyst

    Purpose of the job

    • Be a first class business partner for the Support Functions by providing reliable, relevant and timely information to drive fact based decision making and revenue & cost management.
    • Be the guardian of HEINEKEN assets and reputation through improved financial controls, managed financial risks and clear & transparent information on business performance.

    Key responsibilities

    • Be a co-pilot to Support Functions in decision making through solicited and unsolicited advice based on financial analysis and in-depth knowledge of business operations.
    • Support the overall governance cycle (Strategic Plan, Annual Plan and Latest Estimates) by working closely with the other controllers/analysts.
    • Prepare and deliver streamlined & timely reports on quantitative and qualitative Functions/OpCo performance, including commentaries and KPIs, graphs, internal/external insights and/or benchmarks.
    • Support preparation of Support Functions fund applications and cross-functional fund applications having a major impact on the OpCo strategic ambition realization. Execute post audits where relevant.
    • Monitor actual cost development of OpCo as a whole and Support Functions specifically, provide early warnings on deviations, advise on corrective actions; analyse and explain OpCo working capital developments.
    • Ensure reliability & integrity of accounting records (accounts and cost centres) and financial information (P&L and balance sheet) through regular controls and financial awareness of functions.
    • Identify gaps in Support Functions processes, design, propose and implement solutions/controls to strengthen control environment and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

    Intern Supply Chain Quality Contro

    Purpose of the Position

    • The purpose is to give practical work experience to students who are in their final year of study and have a prerequisite to have practical work experience in order to obtain their qualification.
    • The successful candidate will be expected to enter into a 12-month contract commencing 01 March 2026 and terminating 31 February 2027.

    Key Learning Areas include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Quality Assurance (Intrinsic & extrinsic quality control; Quality Management Systems; etc.)
    • Research
    • Production

    To qualify for selection and participation in this program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • Final year of obtaining Analytical Chemistry / Food Technology or B Sc Biotechnology degree/diploma
    • Candidates in need of in-service or practical workplace experience  
    • Computer literacy – Microsoft Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Sound communication and presentation skills
    • Effective time management
    • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
    • Ability to work in a team.
    • South African citizen
    • Must reside in or be able to relocate to Worcester.

    • Certified copy of grade 12 certificate.
    • Certified copy of identity document.
    • A letter from the tertiary institution confirming that the student requires exposure to the workplace to obtain their qualification.
