The role:
Summary:
As a Software Engineer in our Integrations team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of our middleware platform, including our integration layer, microservices, and APIs.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, document and maintain high performance and high quality middleware software, algorithms, specifications, services, data models, workflows and integrations.
Troubleshoot, debug, triage and resolve production issues and bugs.
Implement unit tests and benchmarking.
Perform code and technical reviews.
Routinely refactor and optimise codebases.
Deploy code and monitor releases in mission-critical production environments.
Research and implement software engineering best practices and design patterns.
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
Requirements
5+ years software development experience
BSc Comp Science, Engineering or Information Systems
Proficient with Golang, Kubernetes, AWS, Linux, NATS, and Postgres
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work in high pressure environments
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proven track record of building complex, high throughput APIs and backend services
Familiarity with Agile software development practices
Advantageous:
Experience integrating with Salesforce, Google, Xero, Moodle APIs
GraphQL, Docker, NodeJS, Python, Helm, Hasura, and Gitlab CI/CD experience

We are looking for the ultimate communicator who is able to guide young students in making a decision to study an online high school program at Valenture Institute! In collaboration with their parents, you will be called upon to have meaningful and impactful conversations. Using your impeccable communication skills, you will be required to guide, motivate and enrol students into one of Valeture’s accredited programs. Your ability to connect with young high school students and their parents will be essential.
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
Proactively engage with prospects via telephone, email, skype and webinars
Share your insights from chatting to students and parents to assist in building a robust admissions process
Use your strong communication skills to build rapport and create authentic connections with students around the globe
Facilitate the administration process of enrolled students from lead to enrolled student
Be required to continuously develop and improve your ability to perform your current role
Contribute toward building a student journey process
Effectively navigate a tech stack to ensure a quality experience for students
Be expected to work evening shifts when required (13h00 until 22h00)
Be expected to meet and exceed your daily metrics and targets
Attend roadshows (or similar events) educating students and parents
Maintain and strive to exceed minimum conversion rates and consistent productivity
Start date: As soon as possible
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree.
At least 3 years of work experience, involving email and telephone engagements
Practical working knowledge of Gsuite and MSOffice
Ability to adapt to the fast pace of the business
Effective time management
Own reliable transport
Be able to work from home when required (Stable internet and quiet work area)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Excellent telephone and email etiquette.
Ability to build rapport via the phone and email.
Ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
Positive attitude.
