THE ROLE

• You're the supporter, the analyzer and the team player. You obsess about delivering what the customer wants by reviewing trade results, analyzing data and making recommendations to drive sales with a digital-first mindset and maximize gross profit. 
• Support retail and VM to identify and act on trade opportunities, manage stock health and prevent dilution
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory and deliver efficient and effective service to stores and customers
• Regularly complete site visits, store visits and distribution to inspect stock on hand, share feedback, communicate messages and solve problems
• Manage the effective execution of promotional activities, share performance insights across all channels

The Role

To enable the vision, I provide exceptional administrative support to the site, enabling operational teams to focus on delivering a safe, efficient and effective supply chain.

• I work across the business to provide my site teams with what they need to focus on their operation.
• I schedule and prepare my manager and their team for meetings and events with the correct reporting and information.
• I plan and organize travel.
• I organize events and activities that drive team engagement.
• I monitor expenses and credit card spend; I investigate discrepancies.
• I prepare operational performance reports.
• I maintain accurate and well-organized records and files.
• I collaborate with internal stakeholders to support a variety of initiatives for the team on site.
• I meet the needs of a global retail business by working outside standard operating hours when necessary.
• I follow the COG way and am an ambassador for our Brand and Products.
• I manage my HPAs to deliver the Group strategy, and act within our Frameworks
• I must have proven Admin and Procurement experience
• The role will be an onsite position working from DC Campus 5 days a week including Weekends and Public Holidays when DC is working over peak period.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance brand presence and drive sales across multiple locations including Africa stores.
• Lead and train field visual merchandising teams, ensuring adherence to brand standards and effective execution of merchandising strategies.
• Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and retail store operations teams to align visual merchandising initiatives with business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of visual displays and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the brand remains competitive and relevant.
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate visual merchandising standards, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee the visual merchandising budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining quality and impact.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for visual merchandising initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in visual merchandising, with a strong background in retail.
• Proven leadership and team management skills across multiple regions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate into actionable strategies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including regional leadership.
• Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and customer first philosophy. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High resilience and adaptability in fast paced, change driven environments. 
• Strong planning, decision making and problem solving capabilities.
