    Lining Installation Technician (Jnr Foreman)

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Carry out surface preparation, including cleaning and grinding, to ensure proper adhesion of lining materials.
    2. Install various types of linings (e.g., HDPE, LLDPE, GCL, and Geotextiles) according to manufacturer specifications, engineering drawings, and site requirements.
    3. Use tools and equipment such as wedge welders, extrusion welders, hot air blowers, tensiometers, and other heat fusion equipment as required for the specific lining system.
    4. Conduct visual checks and measurements during and after installation to ensure the correct quality of seams and welds.
    5. Work closely with QA/QC personnel to address any quality concerns or defects identified during inspection.
    6. Follow strict safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to environmental and occupational health standards.
    7. Assist in maintaining tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    1. Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in geosynthetics, civil construction, or pipe fusion (preferred).
    2. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry fusion equipment and work 10+ hour shifts outdoors in various weather conditions.
    3. Travel Readiness: Must be willing to travel to remote project sites for extended periods (often several weeks).
    4. Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic hand/power tools and the ability to read simple construction drawings.
    5. Qualifications: Thermoplastic Overlap Welding Certificate or IAGI Certified Welding Technician (preferred)

    Plant Agent

    Experience Required

    • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in plant management within the Construction Industry
    • Experience working on Civil, roads or infrastructure projects will be advantageous

    Qualification

    • National Diploma Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
    • Trade Test (Diesel Mech)

    Key Duties Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee all plant and equipment operations across sites
    • Coordinate plant allocation according to project requirements
    • Control plant maintenance schedules and ensure minimal downtime
    • Monitor plant utilization and cost efficiency
    • Ensure statutory compliance, licensing, and inspections
    • Manage plant procurement, disposal, and hire agreements
    • Implement preventative maintenance programs
    • Supervise plant personnel and workshop staff
    • Maintain accurate plant records and reporting systems
    • Ensure adherence to OHSA and company safety standards
