    Senior Project Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
    • Project Execution and Delivery: Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex capital projects from internal hand-over to client delivery. Ensure project scope is met with high-quality standards and manage client hand-over, including operational readiness, commissioning, start-up, and documentation.
    • Scope Management: Coordinate and verify all technical and product information to ensure compliance with client specifications. Conduct regular contract reviews to avoid delays at financial close-out.
    • Schedule Management: Plan, develop, implement, and control project schedules and milestones. Ensure on-time delivery by managing projects against agreed schedules and contractual obligations.
    • Cost Management: Implement and manage cost control measures as per project terms and conditions.
    • Quality Management: Proactively assure quality and monitor control activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant SOPs.
    • Stakeholder Management: Lead cross-functional and inter-departmental teams to ensure effective project execution and integration. Provide regular client feedback, updates, and measure satisfaction.
    • Risk Management: Implement and monitor project risk controls based on best practices.
    • Contract and Procurement Management: Implement contract terms within the Delegation of Authority. Support post-project delivery reviews, negotiations, and financial close-outs.
    • Communication Management: Engage with clients on technical and commercial matters. Collaborate with internal product specialists, sales teams, and regional branches for project support. Build and maintain networks and relationships with peers across the internal business to secure necessary resources for achieving medium to long-term business plans and project objectives.
    • Project Planning and Execution Efficiency: Ensures timely completion of project milestones by effectively managing project plans and mitigating timing delays.
    • Cost and Contract Management: Accurately estimates project costs and conducts thorough profitability analysis to optimize financial performance.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Industrial Engineer Degree
    • Post Graduate Education: Advanced education in Project Management, Supply Chain, or Planning is highly desired.
    • Years of Experience: At least 6 – 8 years of related experience and/or training.
    • Relevant Fields: Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, and Project Management.
    • Project Management Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desired

    Occupational Health Nurse-1

    Key Responsibilities:

    Safety First:

    Medical Surveillance:

    • Responsible for managing and administering a comprehensive and effective occupational health surveillance programme to ensure physical, psychological and social well-being of employees.
    • Monitoring the health status of employees through ongoing surveillance programmes and maintain all medical records.
    • Responsible to ensure that risk-based medicals are completed. E.g., audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, biological monitoring etc.
    • Managing injury on duty and emergency procedures and return to work process.

    Administration

    • Provide, manage and administer the primary health care and chronic disease management for the facility.
    • Assist in the promotion, planning and coordination of wellness activities as per the company Wellness programme.
    • Assess and manage disability cases.
    • Assess and monitor return to work cases.
    • Comply with statutory requirements and company policies and procedures.
    • Prepare and manage all expenditure and monthly expenses in line with allocated budgets.
    • Manage and control of stock and inventory of clinic equipment, medication and consumables.
    • Compile month-end reports and statistics as required by the Health and Wellbeing Manager and Regional SHE Manager.
    • Support and assist company employees with travel immunization.
    • Maintain waste management programme for hazardous and biological wastes.
    • Provide support and feedback to the Health and Wellbeing Manager and Regional SHE Manager on all related issues.
    • Attend health and safety meetings as per schedule by the SHE department
    • Electronic Data capturing / concise manual record keeping.
    • Adhere to the Duty of Care Policy at all times.

    Inspection

    • Conduct inspections of canteen, ablutions and work environment.
    • Conduct inspections of first aid boxes and replenish stock levels where required.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Qualifications: Grade 12, Diploma in General Nursing, Occupational Health Nursing, Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision Screening, Dispensing.
    • Registrations: Registered with South African Nursing Council as Professional Nurse and Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner, and with SASOHN as Audiometrist.
    • 5 years of experience in Occupational Health Clinic, including employee assistance and disability case management.
    • Sound knowledge of statutory legislation, RMA experience.
    • Provide professional indemnity proof (SASOHN).

    Millwright

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Overall Maintenance: Repairs and maintenance to all installed capacity equipment on Site, being fixed assets and non-fixed assets including induction furnaces, mobile cranes, compressors, transformers, AC & DC drives, electrical distribution systems and mechanical systems in the form of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
    • Standards: Ensure that all SANS 10142 standard are adhered
    • Planned Maintenance: Ensure that all preventative maintenance schedules allocated are completed timeously

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Qualified Artisan with minimum three to five years related experience.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

    Senior Quality Manager, Africa

    Key Responsibilities:

    Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

    • Leadership: Lead the Quality function in the Africa sub-region and support the Africa sub-region executive team with the overall business leadership of the Africa business.

    This includes overseeing the following Quality functions:

    • Customer complaints and warranty claims
    • Supplier Quality assurance
    • In-house manufacturing Quality assurance
    • Overall business Quality assurance
    • Quality legislation implementation
    • Stakeholder education
    • Team Development and Succession Planning: Identify training needs of Quality team members and implement development plans. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members. Develop and implement succession plans to ensure continuous growth and readiness. Create an inclusive work environment that embraces diversity.
    • Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement strategic improvement and growth initiatives to drive the Africa Quality function forward in the pursuit of world class quality performance. Support the Africa executive team to deliver the Africa sub-region strategic initiatives. Contribute to the EMEA Quality strategy development and implementation as a member of the EMEA Quality leadership team.
    • EMEA Collaboration: Work together closely with the Europe and METCA sub-region Quality leaders to ensure adoption of best practice, common processes and procedures and common Quality KPI’s and reporting of these KPI’s.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Process/sales teams, Capital Projects team, Engineering team, Operations team, Supply chain team, 3rd party suppliers) to deliver world class quality customer solutions.
    • Performance Management: Establish Africa Quality KPI’s and drive business performance against these KPIs. Compile monthly Africa Quality performance reports for presentation to the Africa executive team and the EMEA Engineering Director.
    • Customer Interaction and Site Visits: Visit customer and supplier sites and interact with their Quality personnel to propose quality improvement initiatives utilizing the Weir Quality knowledge base.
    • Policy and Strategy Formulation: Formulate Quality policies and strategies in conjunction with the EMEA Engineering Director and the Divisional Quality Director. Ensure the rollout of Weir Group, Divisional, and Regional Quality initiatives.
    • Technical Quality Leadership: Provide leadership on quality matters during the manufacturing and installation of integrated solutions and ETO equipment, as well as during the execution of large capital projects.
    • ISO Accreditation: Maintain all ISO accreditations, manage external certification, and conduct internal audits for the Africa sub-region.
    • Management Review Meetings: Ensure management review meetings are held to formulate and improve the management systems of the Africa sub-region.
    • Budget Management: Develop annual expense budgets and manage expenses for the Africa Quality function.
    • Continuous improvement: Ensure that data regarding Quality performance is effectively captured and analyzed on an ongoing basis to develop and execute quality improvement plans across the Africa sub-region.
    • Risk Assessment & legal compliance: Ensure rigorous risk assessment systems are in place to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures. Ensure and assure Quality legal compliance to minimize risk, litigation exposure, and adverse publicity.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, quality management, engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance, with a significant portion in a managerial or leadership role in the manufacturing/engineering industry.
    • Experience in managing large projects and cross-functional teams.
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
    • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality performance and implement improvements.
    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
    • Experience in risk assessment and implementing control measures to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
