Purpose

• This role will involve designing and developing data and system integration solutions across all business units within RMB. Solutions will largely be based on the Tibco product stack within RMB, which include Tibco EMS, BusinessWorks, API Exchange and ActiveSpaces, and using Integration standards and methodologies as defined by the bank's Enterprise Integration Architecture Forum.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 3 years Integration experience across multiple Integration platforms and technology landscapes (especially Tibco BusinessWorks 5.x)
• 2 years server-side development experience.
• Technology related Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrate a clear and thorough understanding of Enterprise Integration Architecture patterns and best practices. These include: Synchronous/Asynchronous messaging, Message queuing, guaranteed messaging, message correlation and sequencing, distributed transactions, etc
• Data Integration: Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Extract Transform Load (ETL), batch architecture and frameworks.
• Middleware Knowledge: Understanding of Message Oriented Middleware (for example Tibco BusinessWorks)
• UML modelling
• Working Operating System knowledge: Windows & Linux
• Strong relational database experience (Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
• An understanding of highly available, high performance, distributed architectures
• A good understanding of Enterprise Data Modelling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Vault Modelling). Prior experience with test automation.

Practical experience in the following is essential:

• Enterprise Information Integration o Enterprise Application Integration
•  Service Oriented Architecture: Web Services and related Web Service Standards (WS-Transaction, WS-Security etc.), WSDL, SOAP, REST, Enterprise Service Buses, Business Process Engines (BPEL), Business Rules, Service Registries and Repositories. 
• Event Driven Architectures. o XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD (and related technologies).  
• SOA & Web Services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST). o Test tools: SOATest, Quick Test Professional, Quality Centre.
• Multi-threaded programming.
• Database design (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase).
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills and the ability to lead and influence development within the team.
• An understanding of key success factors in projects and IT environments.
• Good time management skills.

Practical experience in the following is desired:

•  Stored Procedures, Database Triggers, Database optimisation.
• Master Data Management.
• Data Warehousing.
• Federated Database Systems. 
• Data Governance Principles.
