    Team Lead Condition Monitoring

    Purpose of Job

    • Lead and govern the end‑to‑end condition monitoring programme for all rotating equipment, ensuring early fault detection, improved reliability, and optimal asset availability. Provide technical expertise in vibration monitoring, rotating equipment instrumentation, machinery protection systems, anti‑surge control, and overspeed protection.
    • Own and manage the OPEX budget, support the rolling CAPEX plan, oversee contractors, and ensure SAP‑based planning, execution, and reporting.
    • Collaborate closely with Reliability Engineering and supervise condition monitoring artisans to drive continuous improvement and safe, cost‑effective performance

    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead the predictive and proactive maintenance programmes for all rotating equipment.
    • Ensure standardisation of condition monitoring processes, techniques, instrumentation, databases, and reporting.
    • Provide subject‑matter expertise in rotating equipment instrumentation, including vibration systems and machinery protection platforms.
    • Oversee diagnostics and performance of anti‑surge systems and real‑time monitoring technology.
    • Ensure proper governance and monitoring of overspeed protection systems as part of equipment trip logic.

    Formal Education

    Snr Technician Process

    Purpose of Job

    • The Process Technician (Production) provides technical support to the production area manager and production foremen teams. The process technician works to maintain a healthy balance between fault finding or problem identification, AND driving improvements and implementing solutions. He/She provides inputs and enables the maintenance technicians, area managers, and engineers by applying theoretical skills and making suggestions. Independently implement solutions to optimise production-related systems like PI reports, OWAP management, MOC completion, and progress reporting. The role requires engagement with peers in the broader MPI business unit as well as other business units in Secunda Operations and Tank Farm. The ideal candidate displays energy and a proactive attitude towards driving improvement actions and engagement with others. They perform their duties without needing supervision to deliver and proactively engage with others to improve ideas and solutions.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Provide technical input or advice to multidisciplinary teams in production, maintenance, and capital projects (where applicable).
    • Track, understand, and resolve OWAP deviations relating to the area of accountability and involve others in the solution development as needed.
    • Support the achievement of relevant Work Management and Reliability goals for the area by giving technical design, operating, and improvement inputs into the Work Management process.

    Resource Management, Specialist Quantity Surveyor

    Purpose of Job

    • To lead and manage the end-to-end audit process for hired equipment within the RM: HE (Resource Management: Hired Equipment) department within the defined protocols. This requires verification from scope evaluation (JCE = job cost estimate) through to final payment claim (JCC = job cost completion) approvals, whilst ensuring all Suppliers adhere to the contractual Supply chain (SC) commercial requirements, and HE operational standards.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Conduct scoping and final payment claim auditing activities on all RM: HE contracted Suppliers’ job scopes and/or payment claims.
    • Manage all daily work relating to RM: HE Suppliers scoping and payment claim packs during normal operations and Turnarounds.
    • Track and report all scope and payment claims ensuring an effective database of records for RM: HE Hub.
    • Ensure accurate verifications and savings, and/or cost avoidance results resulting in RM: HE UVP (unique value proposition).
    • Plan and co-ordinate all engagements with stakeholders to ensure contractual alignments are realised and process requirements fulfilled.

    Administrator Supply Chain Cross Border Exports

    Purpose of Job

    • The primary focus is to ensure timeous and accurate execution of approved orders for exports to customers and Sasol Regions globally

    SHE IMS Practitioner

    Purpose of Job

    • To ensure that SHE performance is measured, reviewed and reported to assess achievements against SHE objectives and targets.
    • To ensure effective SHE audit scheduling, service provider notification and auditor logistics administration.
    • To coordinate service provider contract administration (including contract review schedules), monitor invoicing, SLA and payment administration and report thereon.
