    Electrical BIM Modelle - (BIM-L3.2)

    Role responsibilities

    • Demonstrates the ability to prepare accurate models and information under the guidance of a more senior modeller.
    • Demonstrate ongoing improvement in software skills and technical understanding.
    • Pays careful consideration to the context, relevant interfaces, and buildability of the model elements during the digital build via daily interference checks.
    • Achieve completion of various aspects of the digital build as set out in the TIDP / Drawing register

    Minimum requirements

    • 1-2 years’ experience as a Electrical BIM modeller.
    • Revit for MEP.
    • Familiarity with BIM 360 / ACC is advantageous.

    Project Support and General Administrator - Transport - (ADM-L5.7)

    Role Responsibilities

    • Establishing and maintaining effective internal communication processes that ensure the flow of relevant information.
    • Full administrative support including calendar management, global travel and accommodation, etc.
    • Maintaining excellent relationships with external/internal clients.
    • General Unit related administration (incl. printing and collating documents, issuing of information, maintaining registers).
    • Creating & preparing documents for online signatures.
    • Vendor Management System (capturing) - preparing documents and registering new vendors linked to projects.
    • People related Staff support (training application forms, Certifications, etc.)
    • Assisting with Expense claims.
    • Updating and retrieving CVs, Professional Registrations, Qualifications, Reference Letters and Company Documents for tender requests and tender compilation (coordinating updates where required).
    • Changing of staff documentation with employer, e.g., changing site staff, site benefit agreements, processing.
    • Retrieving information from procurement websites where tenders and information is advertised and making relevant units aware of the opportunities.
    • Preparation of tenders and proposals and completion of tender returnable.
    • Championing ISO 9001 standards and providing exceptional HSE support.
    • Compilation of minutes of meetings where requested.
    • Supporting and Assisting project registration and management on Vantagepoint
    • Attending to project administrative assistance housekeeping of project and admin folders / including Proposal and Project Folders on Zugle / SharePoint.
    • Documentation control: Open SharePoint Folders and add team members.
    • Assisting with organising yearly medical fitness assessments where necessary.
    • Organising advance claims from creditors and process recons for office events/ arrange functions farewells.
    • Completion of Client Vendor Registration Forms.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in similar role
    • A strong background in office support and assisting in administering projects.
    • High levels of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other business communication tools
    • A strong interest in working on innovative and complex projects.
    • Certificate in project management or office management will be an added advantage

    Quantity Surveyor - (QS-L4.5)

    Role responsibilities

    • Measuring and compiling of bills of quantities for tender purposes.
    • Compilation of tender and contract documentation
    • Tender evaluations
    • Perform on/off site re-measurement, assessments and agree variations.
    • Prepare and settle final accounts.
    • Cost management including compiling and presenting payment certificates and cost reports
    • Drafting of contractual correspondence
    • Pricing of BOQ’s

    Minimum requirements

    • A relevant technical qualification in Quantity Surveying
    • Must be registered as a candidate quantity surveyor in the ENGINEERING STREAM 
    • 2 years relevant experience in the mining and engineering QS space  

    Other requirements

    • Experience on an engineering construction site
    • Willing to work on project sites and travel
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Experience working with WinQS and DimX

    Senior Ports & Coastal Engineer - (ENG-L6.140)

    Key role accountabilities

    • Creating conceptual, preliminary, and detail designs.
    • Design coordination and project management.
    • Technical review and verification of others’ design on high-level.
    • Contribution to winning work via bids and proposals.
    • Familiarity with international codes and standards related to marine and coastal design as well as structural analysis.
    • Active coordination and interfacing with different stakeholders, teams, and clients on multi-disciplinary projects, e.g. environmental services, local municipalities and authorities, architects and developers, and of course, other engineering disciplines.

    Minimum requirements

    • BSc / MSc, or BEng and MEng qualifications relevant to structural and/or marine engineering.
    • Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa or ability to register in the next 2 years.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in the relevant field, ideally closer to 10 years’ experience is preferred.
    • Coastal and/or Port engineering experience deemed critical.
    • Structural analysis and design experience.
    • Numerical or physical modelling experience.
    • Experience in using a variety of software packages.
    • Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
    • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional client service and a passion for technical excellence.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record in writing technical reports and project correspondence.

    Tax Accountant - (FIN-L5.19)

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Deliver a full range of corporate tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within specific timeframe.
    • Provide support for local (South Africa), Africa, and Middle East taxation matters. (In certain instances, working closely with tax advisors)
    • Preparation and/review of Provisional and Income Tax returns of South Africa, Africa and Middle Eastern entities.
    • Support and coordination of tax compliance/advice for international subsidiaries and branches from third party service providers.
    • Preparation and/or review of monthly income tax and deferred tax computations.
    • Preparation, submission and/or review of dividend tax returns.
    • Preparation, submission and/or review of VAT and WHT returns.
    • Preparation of reconciliation between revenue and billings.
    • Providing advice to the business in relation to domestic and international tax issues.
    • Providing advice to the payroll and people departments such as rudimentary domestic payroll tax and expat tax issues.
    • Contributing to the successful delivery of tax solutions for the business (especially as part of commercial review process) by assisting in tax planning opportunities and mitigation of tax risk.
    • Responsible for following up on financial proceedings and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule relating to relevant accounts.
    • Exposure to transfer pricing policies and compliance.
    • Responsibility for a number of countries tax compliance and risks.
    • Assist in international tax planning initiatives and special projects.
    • Assessment of tax positions and interpretation of our business model
    • Keep up with new tax developments across South Africa, Africa and Middle East.
    • Exposure to transfer pricing will be beneficial.
    • Assistance with year-end tax disclosure preparation for financial statement purposes and tax rate reconciliations. Dealing with the auditors on all countries regarding tax matters for year end and statutory financial statement purposes

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of an Honours degree in Account/ taxation.
    • Postgraduate qualification in tax or tax law ((Advantageous)
    • Technically strong with solid knowledge and experience in SA and Africa.
    • Experience in Middle Eastern countries (Advantageous)
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Tax Accountant with strong accounting background
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel (Mandatory)
    • Registration with relevant professional tax institutions, or professional body
