    Digital Marketing Specialist

    Key Responsibilities:

    As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you will:

    • Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, and other relevant networks to drive traffic and conversions.
    • Set up, execute, and implement marketing campaigns with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Continuously monitor campaign delivery and performance, optimizing campaigns for maximum results.
    • Report regularly on campaign performance to the Subscription and Marketing team.
    • Assist in developing digital marketing materials that effectively drive traffic and conversions.
    • Ensure all documentation and reports are accurately saved in the electronic file system.
    • Advise on and implement best industry practices while driving innovation and continuous improvement.

    • Proficiency in Excel and the ability to use data effectively.

    Account Manager: Son Newspaper Print and Digital

    Job Outputs     

    • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
    • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

    What we’re looking for

    • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or NQF 7 in a Business management or IT management related field
    • 8+ years of project management experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
    • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
    •  Proven success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
    • Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).
    • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification (preferred).
