    Precinct Manager

    Job Summary

    The core focus of this role is to ensure that the district is operating at optimum level and is continuously making improvements to uplift standards. 

    As such, you will be responsible for preparing and managing district improvement budget, checking, and distributing invoices, arranging board and forum meetings, managing the marketing strategies as well as preparing and distributing notices, agendas, and minutes. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring all subcontractors are in accordance with SLA’s, implementing the Disaster Management Act, staying up do date with social issues and regularly meeting with members. 

    To be considered for this role you will need: 

    • Proven ability in liaising with councils, municipalities, business associations, residential associations and local authorities
    • Strong ability to communicate on all levels.
    • Retail or Commercial Property Management/ Facilities Management experience
    • Must have a valid driver’s and your own vehicle 
    • A matric certificate
    • A Finance/Accounting tertiary qualification will be advantageous
    • Excellent problem solving skills

    Retail Marketing Manager

    Job Summary

    Owning, operating and managing a portfolio all over the country, this private business manages their marketing in-house too. In this way they ensure a purchasing power and quality of product which is consistent with their budgeting and branding objectives. Reporting to their Head of Marketing, the Mall Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the complete on-site marketing function, assisting with formulating, and implementing sustainable marketing and brand strategies, public relations and communication strategies and policies while managing the marketing and information staff’s key outputs as well as representing Centre Management. Your duties will include but are not limited to: 

    Strategy & Budgeting

    • Social Media oversight and management
    • Promotion court rentals & sundry sales
    • Tenant training & assistance in their marketing objectives
    • Supplier engagement & payments
    • Research & monthly reporting

    Requirement

    • You will have a stable track record of at least 5 years’ marketing experience; it is imperative that your marketing experience is in the retail property space. 
    • A marketing related degree / diploma and a portfolio of successful on-line marketing & social media campaigns will secure this position!

    Real Estate Credit Manager

    Your duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Manage and assess credit applications on property-based deals.
    • Recommend appropriate changes where required to credit applications. 
    • Maintain approval of credit within policy parameters and mandate structures and ensure adherence to credit policy/lending strategy.  
    • Verify pre-sales.
    • Monitor credit quality of regional portfolios.  
    • Monitor that all loans are regularly reviewed in terms of the policy.  
    • Monitor arrears on the book.  
    • Manage asset quality distribution of book.  
    • Preparation of monthly risk reports.  
    • Provide support and advice to Relationship Managers.
    • Liaise with key clients and make recommendations for effective deal structuring in conjunction with account executives.  
    • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders. 
    • Assessment and interpretation of financial statements for listed/unlisted companies.
    • Manage credit team. 

    Requirement

    • To be considered for this role, you are required to have a minimum of 8 year' experience in a similar role with an appropriate degree in Business, Finance or Real Estate. Property Financing experience is mandatory. This role will suit a candidate who has a keen eye for detail and who can work under pressure.

    Property Facilities Manager

    Key accountabilities include but are not limited to: 

    • Filling building vacancies
    • Lease renewals 
    • Managing tenant installations and vacating tenants 
    • Tenant Management 
    • Conducting building inspections
    • Sourcing and managing contractors and service providers 
    • Checking tenant billings 
    • Preparing budgets and forecasts
    • Conducting lease audits

    Professional Sectional Title Portfolio Manager

    Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to: 

    • Liaising with Bookkeepers to ensure preparation of budgets and financial statements.
    • Attending meetings when requested.
    • Daily payments of invoices.
    • Liaising with chairman and trustees.  
    • Building maintenance 
    • Arranging AGM meetings.
    • Authorising journal adjustments
    • Compiling accurate levy and special levy schedules 
    • Monthly reconciliation 

    To be considered you will need: 

    • Comprehensive knowledge of the Sectional Title Act
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
    • A Real Estate related tertiary qualification 
    • Experience using Pastel will be advantageous 
    • A Paddocks qualification will be advantageous

    Financial Director

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Take control of financial strategy, reporting, forecasting and compliance. Reporting to the CFO, this opportunity will see you working directly with the CEO and taking responsibility for  all financial management, treasury, regulatory, legal, payroll and contractual functions for the company. This will allow the CFO the focus on transactional  tasks, including investor management, raising of debt and deal structuring of large purchases or disposals. 

    Requirement

    • Minimum 10 years working experience required, at least 4 of which should be within a property management environment with a proven track record of managing and mentoring qualified and senior staff.
