    Floor Assistant - Bloemfontein (Bloemfontein)

    Description

    • We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Floor Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers on the floor, ensure the store is well-maintained, and support the overall operations of the retail environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Assistance

    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Provide product information and guidance to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

    Sales Support

    • Support the sales team in achieving store targets and goals.
    • Assist in setting up product displays and ensuring they are visually appealing.
    • Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked with products.

    Inventory Management

    • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory.
    • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to the management.
    • Ensure products are correctly priced and labeled.

    Store Maintenance

    • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including shelves, counters, and displays.
    • Ensure that health and safety standards are adhered to within the store environment

    Requirements

    • 2 – 3 years’ experience
    • Computer Literate
    • Attention to detail
    • Exceptional Customer Service
    • Matric/ Grade 12 (NSC)
    • Tertiary Qualification is advantageous
    • A minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience

    Express Cashier (Bloemfontein)

    Description

    • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
    • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
    • Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
    • Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets. 
    • Redeem stamps and coupons.
    • Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
    • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
    • Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
    • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.

    • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.

    Requirements

    • ACDC Express a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Sales Officer to join our driven Team, based in Edenvale.

    Purpose of the Role:

    • The purpose of the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) role is to lead and drive the overall sales strategy and performance of the organization. The CSO is responsible for ensuring revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition by developing and executing effective sales strategies. They play a pivotal role in aligning the sales organization with the company's business objectives, building a high-performance sales team, and fostering relationships with key customers and stakeholders. The CSO ensures that the sales department operates efficiently, stays competitive in the market, and delivers measurable results, ultimately contributing to the company's long-term success and profitability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and overall business objectives. Align sales goals with the company's vision and market opportunities.
    • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire the sales team, including setting clear goals, providing mentorship, and fostering a performance-driven culture. Ensure that the team is well-equipped with the resources, tools, and training they need to succeed.
    • Revenue Growth: Drive overall revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding into new markets or customer segments.
    • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Oversee the development of accurate sales forecasts, monitor sales performance, and provide regular reports to the CEO and other key stakeholders.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Strengthen and maintain key customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Actively engage in major negotiations and high-level sales meetings.
    • Market Intelligence & Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and execution of cross-functional initiatives that support business growth.
    • Sales Operations & Technology: Oversee the sales operations process, including CRM tools, pipeline management, and sales reporting systems. Ensure that the sales team is using the most effective technologies and methodologies to maximize efficiency.
    • Performance Monitoring: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure individual and team success. Provide constructive feedback and implement corrective actions when necessary.

    Requirements

    • Matric + Electrical Qualifications B. Tech, B.sc
    • Show Tenacity in difficult circumstances
    • Accuracy in execution of tasks
    • Experience 5 years of sales in the electrical environment
    • External Sales experience
    • Experience with South African National Standards
    • Must be able to travel
    • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
    • Available to work from 7.30am each day until 5.00pm and every second Saturday until 1pm

    Additional Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
    • Experience with international or multi-market sales strategies is a plus.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
