    General Worker (Marble Hall)

    Description

    • Responsible for keeping certain areas and assets around the branch clean and assisting with general duties as requested.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 10

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • Basic numeracy skills advantageous

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Maintain the standard of cleanliness and appearance of the working environment and yard in accordance with management expectations
    • Daily removal of refuse collection
    • Maintain restrooms clean and sanitized

    Head Miller (Bethal)

    Description

    • To drive the technical performance of raw material and product processes in order to achieve optimum productivity and world-class quality standards, while keeping the operational cost within budget. 

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    Qualified Miller 
    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • Minimum of 4 years experience as Miller

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Ensure effective internal and external communication to all permanent, outsourced and Head Office personnel
    • Timeous, correct and effective dissemination of information to all employees within your department
    • Ensure that MPD and OEE targets are achieved at all times
    • Manage that incoming maize moisture and ensure optimum moisture addition during 1st conditioning
    • Manage routine sampling of maize in 40-ton batches
    • Ensure all maize receipts comply with Grade 1 specifications and downgrade non-conforming consignments 
    • Minimise downtime in accordance with company benchmarks and ensure consistent achievement of the most profitable divide and maximisation of technical performance of the mill
    • Coordinate and conduct daily food review meetings
    • Manage raw material grading and quality control analysis of all products every two hours
    • Ensure routine cleaning and inspection of all conditioning and finished product bins 
    • Regularly conduct fumigation and hygiene inspection audits and submit reports to the Technical Director
    • Manage fumigation equipment and chemicals to ensure zero infestation within the mill and silo
    • Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients.
    • Monitor all functional operational costs, measure and analyse purchases and operational cost against budget 
    • Ensure compliance with both HACCP and ISO standards, the quality management system manual and health and safety regulations
    • Manage and monitor employee performance standards, identify training and development needs andensure fair disciplinary action to address deviations

    Depot Manager (Delmas)

    Description

    • The incumbent will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the depot to ensure operational efficiency and the achievement of operational targets.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree/National Diploma in Management or Business Administration or equivalent qualification
    • 5 years administration experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment
    • Experience in an animal feeds environment will be an advantage

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Manage operational assets including stock, vehicles, consumables, maintenance requirements of vehicles and stock.
    • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting revenue, and profitability and ensuring prescribed financial processes are implemented and adhered to.
    • Manage delivery costs, plan and ensure effective delivery and distribution stock.
    • Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and extern clients and ensure that client queries and complaints are resolved timeously
    • Manage bulk deliveries from Eloff factory that needs to be bagged off in 10, 40 or 50kg bags with recons per batch.
    • Detailed recon on FIFO on bagged product with stapelkaart per product. No expired stock.
    • Ensure minimum stock level is kept at all times. Update list every 3 months & quantities with TA’s.
    • Detailed recon of rework per product. Must be split per product group, mash and pellets to go back to Eloff factory for rework
    • Optimum utilization of bag offline & reduce downtime.
    • Manage optimum utilization of delivery vehicles.
    • Manage waste generation and stock losses.
    • Do job observations per activity & change if need be.
    • Overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with and maintaining health and safety standards in line with legislative requirements and company policy.
    • Manage employee key performance areas, identify training and development requirements, and ensure fair disciplinary action to address deviations.

    Forecourt Supervisor (Cullinan)

    Description

    Requirements

    MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED

    • Grade 12
    • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration

    MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • 2 years relevant forecourt experience
    • Management and/or Team Lead experience will be an advantage

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Effective management of stock levels through daily monitoring of stock levels at the kiosk and forecourt
    • Oversee regular stock-taking, cycle counting and stock rotation
    • Ensure placement of stock in correct shelves/bins and
    • Manage and control stock expiration register and report on stock expiration dates and best-before dates
    • Ensure achievement of sales targets set for kiosk and forecourt in accordance with marketing plans and budgets 
    • Manage and report on the budget vs actual expenses
    • Ensure customer service
    • Build and maintain sound customer relations with internal and external clients, grow customer base and ensure that client queries and complaints are resolved timeously
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements in line with company policy and legislative requirements
