    Group Creditors Manager

    Job Summary:

    • To take overall responsibility for the Group Creditors function encompassing the capturing of invoices, the preparation of supplier reconciliations, the full banking process and continuous communication.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Diploma / Degree in Finance
    • 3-5 years’ experience as a Creditor’s Manager
    • Private healthcare experience is advantageous

    Minimum work experience:

    • Set goals and standards for the Creditor’s Department to support the business and Finance plans.
    • Adapt ways of working to accommodate the requirements of different mining sections
    • Define, establish and utilise an efficient and effective knowledge capture process, tooling and reporting
    • Develop and embed policies, standards and processes
    • Ensure that invoices are VAT compliant
    • Ensure that differences between supplier statements and GL are investigated immediately and resolved
    • Ensure no debit balances appear on Creditors ageing
    • Ensure all Creditors reconciliations are up to date for the Group and there is immediate follow up for outstanding items
    • Populate a consolidated Creditors ageing for the Group on a weekly basis
    • Ensure accurate posting of invoices and payment journals
    • Develop work processes to assess the accurate recording of monthly expenses and raise accruals as needed
    • Ensure that the cash flow forecast is kept up to date and reconciled weekly back to the balance per the bank account and submit to the Group FM: Operations and Projects per agreed timelines
    • Oversee the proper allocation of accounts to Clerks
    • Investigate and understand stakeholders needs to enable delivery of a quality service
    • Clearly define goals and objectives and provide direction, coaching and regular feedback
    • Ensure that all team members are competent to deliver the outputs of their jobs within a specified time after being appointed in the position.
    • Comply with cost controls in order to achieve section budget
    • Report on cost usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters.
    • Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision-making purposes

    Nursing Optimisation Manager

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Diploma or B.Cur Degree in General Nursing.
    • Post Graduate Degre in Nursing.
    • 5-7 years’ experience in Nursing Management.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Implement, monitor and control financial and business processes for clinical and non-clinical agency staff across CHG hospitals according to quality standards, policy, compliance and governance requirements (the following non-clinical functions are included:, Billings Department and EMS).
    • Ensure the development, alignment and consistent implementation of agency resource plans and end-to-end standard operating procedures and processes.
    • Researching current industry and market trends and using knowledge for business improvement and consult (Group Nursing Services Manager, Hospital Managers and Nursing Services Managers) on agency utilisation improvements and opportunities.
    • Review existing agency utilisation processes at Group and Hospital Facility levels and suggest innovative and practical ways and streamline processes to drive efficiencies, minimise redundancy and manage agency staffing costs.
    • Develop and continuously review relevant tools and frameworks to track the availability and placement of nursing staff in specialised and non-specialised units.
    • Proactively monitor staffing patterns and acuities in accordance with the correct staffing ratios to maintain quality of care.
    • In collaboration with the Group Nursing Services Manager and Nursing Services Managers in hospitals, develop and contribute to the annual agency staffing budget and recruitment plan for agency staff.
    • Develop and drive agency staff recruitment process, which includes selection, finalization, induction and orientation.
    • Review all incident reports relating to area of assignment, recommend additional follow up/ escalation as appropriate, tracking of trends and recommend initiatives for change.
    • Establish parameters for Nursing flexible resources and ensure the implementation thereof (across all hospitals)
    • Collaborate with NSMs and Unit managers in ensuring the monitoring of performance for Agency staff.
    • Provide input into recruitment and selection processes across the board in order to source and select the appropriate caliber and number of candidates which will meet the business requirements.
    • Develop a Group-wide recruitment, onboarding and performance plan for agency staff and train relevant managers in hospital facilities on effectively using the plan.
    • Monitors adherence to recruitment plan and evaluates effectiveness thereof against financial parameters.
    • Establish frameworks for conducting performance reviews for agency staff.
    • Identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional competencies and knowledge.
    • Execute department strategy and operational plans and manage the department’s annual budget, to meet set objectives and performance targets.
    • Prepare hospital/ service statistics, analyse data to identify issues/ trends and recommend appropriate strategies.
    • Drive branding and advertisement of CHG Nursing Pool Agency.
    • Provide consistent, high-quality advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
    • Analyse trends, anticipate issues and ensure contingency plans are in place; proactively recommend solutions to identified risks.
    • Provide advice (and where necessary draft relevant documentation) regarding CHG Standards, Policies and SOPs.

    Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

    Job summary 

    • To supply medication efficiently and professionally to patients, wards and theatres. the incumbent, under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist, prepares prescriptions, selects and compounds medication and accurately labels medication before dispensing.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent level of education
    • Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant Certificate
    • Current registration with South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
    • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP (or related platform)
    • Advanced level of computer literacy
    • 1-2 years hospital experience
    • Retail experience is advantageous
    • Previous Healthcare experience will be advantageous

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation of a prescription, the selection, the labelling and supply of the medicine in the appropriate container following the interpretation and evaluation of the prescription by a pharmacist.
    • Compounding, manipulating or preparation of non-sterile or sterile medicine or scheduled substances according to a formula and standard operating procedure
    • Package and re-package of medicine under the supervision of a pharmacist.
    • Accurately dispense stock to wards, discharged patients and prescriptions under the close supervision of the Pharmacist.
    • Distribute and control stock of Schedule 1 to Schedule 2 medicines or unscheduled substances.
    • Ensure all ward stock issues, retail scripts, OTT scripts and in-hospital scripts dispensed/picked/packed are signed by a pharmacist before handing it over to the patient, ward/unit or nursing staff member 
    • Conduct cycle counts in designated areas under the supervision of the Pharmacist
    • Complete stock reports, cyclical counts and stock audits timeously
    • Receipt of stock as per standard operating procedures
    • Provide health advice, information and pharmacy products directly to the consumer
