    The Main Purpose of the job

    • The successful applicant will be responsible for operating vehicles/equipment, inspecting equipment, structures or materials, handling and moving objects and performing general physical activities.

    Education and Experience required:

    • Matric is Essential
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same role
    • Customer Service experience
    • Driver’s License with PDP
    • Good communication skills
    • Professional and presentable                                                                    

    Key areas of responsibilities:

    • Operate vehicles or equipment
    • Inspect equipment, structures or materials
    • Handling and moving objects
    • Set-up and serve at offsite functions
    • Performing general physical activities

    Payroll Manager

    Main purpose of the Job:

    • The Successful applicant will be responsible for all Manager functions and management of a payroll team within a division of the business

    Education and Experience required:

    • Matric (Essential)
    • Relevant Payroll/Finance Qualification (NQF6) advantageous
    • At 5 years' experience as a payroll officer managing a large portfolio
    • At least 1-3 years supervisory experience (advantageous)

    Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

    •  Ability to form close working relationships with business stakeholders and maintaining confidentiality
    • Ability to quickly analyse, manipulate large quantities of financial data from multiple sources and drawing out key matters of significance
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and good presentation skills
    • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Intermediate/Advanced Excel Essential)
    • Good knowledge of relevant systems i.e. SAP and PRP/Biometrics System
    • Attention to detail
    • Planning and organising
    • Deadline driven
    • Team Player
    • Leadership and Management skills
    • Full understanding of tax and various bargaining council legislative rules .

     Key areas of responsibility:

    •  Ensure the delivery of the overall payroll function (i.e. leave administration, expense claims, travel, new employee on-boarding, employee transfers and off-boarding processes)
    • Management of month end processes and payments
    • Management of PRP within the teams
    • Knowledge of Systems and reporting  i.e. SAP and PRP/Biometrics Systems
    • Lead and manage teams
    • Establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders in operations and clients
    • Ensure accurate payments to Third Parties and Payroll payments
    • Review payroll discrepancies, determine problems areas and initiate adjustments or recommend adjustments
    • Assist employees and managers with payroll and benefits related queries
