Minimum Requirements    

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in the automotive industry (essential)
• Proficiency in industry-specific accounting software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage and oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts, including bank accounts, to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare necessary documentation and assist with financial audits conducted by external auditors.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely payments and negotiating favorable terms when possible.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations.
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations specific to the automotive industry, and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and provide training or guidance to other finance team members or dealership staff as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
• Conduct periodic financial analyses and provide insights to improve dealership performance.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive financial information.

Minimum Requirements    

• Proven experience as a Debtors Clerk, preferably within the motor industry.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Allocation of credit limits
• Capturing and verification of all debtors
• Process invoices and credit notes as required
• Administering debtors and following-up on outstanding accounts 
• Maintain records of all transactions and correspondance on debtors accounts
• Receipting of payments and maintenance of bank account GL's
• Request remittances from customers
• General administrative duties
