• The individual in the role is required to be the principal point of contact between the business and the client in offering our services and products.

Quoting and Invoicing 

• Follow up on leads from prospective clients.
• Meet with local and international filmmakers and report back to Manager: Operations.
• Attending local and international film festivals and events when required.
• Respond to relevant client correspondence (emails and phone calls) in a timeous manner.
• Liaise with Production, crew and the operational floor staff to eliminate delays and unplanned changes.

Client Liaison

• Book in jobs as per clients’ request.
• Compile quotes in accordance with client specifications and ensure gear is booked accordingly.
• Manage the quotations process from start to completion.
• Prepare client agreements and ensure adherence to applicable terms and conditions including business applications and insurance documentation
• Ensure all allocations are completed timeously.
• Plan for gear shortages and highlight concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure that the generator and operators are booked, as required.
• Communicate high demand gear to Manager: Operations, based on client feedback.
• Work with the operational team to plan logistics for hired-in gear or interbranch movement of gear.
• Ensure that the Rentals invoicing process is complete including missing and damaged equipment/items
• Ensure that invoicing is done as per the Financial Manager’s instructions

Requirements

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Sales

Experience

• 2 years in Sales/Rentals
• Driver's Licence - Essential

Language

• English - Advanced

Technology Proficiency

• Microsoft Office Suite

• The individual in the role is required to ensure all technical aspects of the bulletin are met. To assist with producing creative and compelling content for Digital.

Writing

• Have good knowledge and understanding of South African and global news.
• Create compelling content by developing high-quality, informative and engaging content.
• Incorporate eye-catching visuals, such as images and videos to stories.
• Have an ability to write to visuals.
• Fact check all content to ensure that it meets with the correct standards.
• Stories must be accurate and unbiased.
• Write, edit and publish creative stories for eNCA.com.
• Have the ability to generate content found on online searches and social media i.e trending stories and fresh angles.
• Write copies that meet eNCA.com style guide.
• Ensure that written copies include hyperlinks to previous stories and embed posts from social media.

Technical

• Excellent understanding of newsroom workflow systems (Dalet).
• Cutting of bytes and interviews for digital platforms (Volicon).
• Check electronic media, social media and articles of interest.
• Research and write original content based on eNCA editorial standards

Requirements

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Journalism

Experience

• 3 years in  Digital Content Producing

Language

• English - Advanced
