    Data Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing data to provide actionable insights, creating business intelligence (BI) reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for turning data into impactful strategies.

    Minimum Education (Advantageous but Not Essential)

    While a formal qualification is not required, a degree in:

    • Information Science
    • Data Analytics
    • Computer Science
    • or a related field would be advantageous.

    Minimum Applicable Experience (Years)

    • At least 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst role.

    Requirements (Essential)

    • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (BI) and a strong understanding of data visualization techniques.
    • Ability to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.
    • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
    • Comfortable working in an office-based role. 

    Requirements (Advantageous)

    • Experience with SQL for querying and managing databases.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
    • Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
    • Conduct data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    • Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.

    Technical Expectations

    • Backend Development:
    • Proficiency in C#/.NET application development.
    • Experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps practices.
    • Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and automated testing frameworks.

    Frontend Development:

    • Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS.
    • Familiarity with Single Page Applications (SPAs) and reusable web components.

    Stack Alignment

    • Must align with the company's current technology stack.
    • Proficiency with tools like Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, and Confluence is essential.

    Time Allocation

    • 60% of the role will focus on client-billable projects, primarily for Swiss clients.
