    Dispatch Assistant (JHB)

    Description

    • Inspect all unserviceable spares to ensure they are flushed and prepared for shipment before being inducted into the warehouse;
    • Inspect the paperwork for all unserviceable spares to ensure completion before inducting them into the warehouse;
    • Correctly pack spares onto shelves to prevent any further damage to parts and components;
    • Work closely with the planning department to ensure the required movements are done on SAM;
    • Conduct daily stock checks on all items marked as unserviceable in SAM;
    • Work with internal stake holders to resolve any problems;
    • Update stock on the SAM system;
    • Ensure all items are packed correctly to prevent damage during the shipping process;
    • Coordinate with shipping companies to arrange the pickup and delivery of cargo;
    • Communicate with other departments within the company to ensure timely delivery of shipments;
    • Provide daily feedback to internal and external customers/stakeholders;
    • Ensure the dispatch area is always maintained in a state of readiness for audits;
    • Adhere to procedures and standards at all time.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • 1-2 years' experience in warehousing (Essential);
    • Dangerous goods and Aircraft spares packing (Advantageous);
    • Physically fit (Essential);
    • Willing to work overtime as and when required;
    • Willing to work 24 hour shifts (Essential);
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
    • Knowledge of ERP system (Advantageous);
    • Deadline driven work with minimal supervision.

    Warehouse Assistant (JHB)

    Description

    • Move inventory and materials across facilities;
    • Process inventory for delivery;
    • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location;
    • Package items and label it correctly;
    • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors;
    • Stack and organize large bulk items;
    • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing;
    • Direct and conduct routine warehouse cleaning tasks;
    • Monitor and manage inventory control;
    • Perform warehouse inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits;
    • Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care to avoid damages;
    • Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse in line with SOPs;
    • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations;
    • Perform daily cycle counts and work with the Inventory Clerk to resolve any discrepancies.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Warehouse Training certification (Advantageous);
    • Dangerous goods and Aircraft spares packing certifications (Advantageous);
    • 1-2 years administration experience in a mid-size organisation (Essential);;
    • Willing to work overtime as and when required;
    • Willing to work 24 hour shifts (Essential);
    • Knowledge of Warehousing standards;
    • Knowledge of ERP system (Advantageous);
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
    • Ability to multitask.

    Toolstore Assistant (JHB)

    Description

    • Update of all systems used in the tool store;
    • Resolve queries with regards to tools;
    • Ensure all items and shelves are clearly marked;
    • Assist technicians with all over-the-counter tool requests;
    • Assist with outstation tool requests and planning for replacements;
    • Ensure returned tools are placed correctly and recorded accordingly;
    • Identify areas of improvement and provide solutions;
    • Conduct daily / weekly / monthly stock checks;
    • Follow up on items that are out for calibration / repair and assist with planning to ensure tool availability;
    • Ensure all calibrated tools are recalibrated in good time to ensure availability
    • Ensure consumables are always stocked in tool store;
    • Perform monthly inspections on GSE and other tools / items;
    • Report all unserviceable GSE / items to maintenance for rectification;
    • Ensure housekeeping is always done in the tool store;
    • Ensure access to tool store is always controlled;
    • Provide reports as prescribed by the Work Instructions.

    Airport Operations Coordinator (JHB)

    Description

    • Ensure all airports are operating within the policies and procedures set out in the Passenger Services Manuals (PSM);
    • Assist with updates of the PSM and procedures;
    • Monitor and schedule initial and recurrent training for all airport stations and call centre staff;
    • Maintain staff training files and training matrix;
    • Conduct monthly station visits and provide feedback on service quality;
    • Monitor, implement and follow-up on Station start-ups;
    • Perform quality audits on passenger services, ensuring all corrective actions are executed;
    • Verify that ground handler staff adhere to their standard operating procedures;
    • Attend ground handling monthly meetings and all other meeting as per the Management request;
    • Manage and evaluate the service provider/s;
    • Formulate weekly statistics for all departments e.g. crew, airports, call centre, l.T, etc.;
    • Assist the Airport Manager to oversee operations during peak seasons;
    • Assist in the management of flight delays;
    • Ensure that service providers adhere to established processes and procedures;
    • Analyse incident report to improve operations;
    • Recommend disciplinary action to the service providers for non-compliance;
    • Provide leadership to Supervisors and staff;
    • Monitor the performance of staff;
    • Stand in for Airport Manager in his/her absence;
    • Provide continuous improvement on quality;
    • Training:
    • Provide training to the ground handler staff and oversee enhancements in standards through mentoring and coaching;
    • Provide training to the FlySafair's Call Centre staff and Airport Ticket Sales agents;
    • Provide guidance and training regarding customer service-related queries, including telephone etiquette;
    • Provide training regarding any changes in the FlySafair terms and conditions and Passenger Services manual;
    • Provide on-the-job Mentoring and coaching to the staff (Service Provider & FlySafair
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
    • Build and maintain relationships with the Ground handler.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • Relevant Diploma/Degree (Advantageous);
    • Assessor and Moderator qualification (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 3 years' Passenger/Customer Services Duty Manager experience (Essential);
    • Required to assist with irregular operations, as and when required;
    • Must have experience in airport operations;
    • Airline System Knowledge;
    • Computer literate;
    • Strong interpersonal skills;
    • Strong leadership skills;
    • Planning and organizational skills;
    • Good administrative skills;
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
    • Ability to prioritise;
    • Deadline driven.
