    B-BBEE Program Manager, FELA

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Program Manager to support the effective execution of Amazon’s Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) initiatives. This is a delivery-focused role that involves implementing key program components, coordinating across teams, and ensuring compliance with legislative and company requirements.

    As a Program Manager, you'll be responsible for executing defined plans, managing day-to-day program operations, and ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within scope. You’ll work across functions such as Business, Legal, Finance, and HR to support accurate documentation, process improvements, and reporting. You'll also support the communication of program milestones and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

    This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to achieving measurable outcomes. You’ll interact with both internal and external stakeholders, supporting training sessions, maintaining reporting tools, and escalating issues as needed to maintain compliance and performance.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Implement and manage key components of Amazon’s B-BBEE program.
    • Track and report on compliance metrics, identifying gaps and ensuring timely follow-up.
    • Support internal reviews and partner with Business, Legal, Public Policy and Finance to ensure program accuracy and alignment.
    • Conduct operational risk assessments and escalate compliance concerns as needed.
    • Coordinate with teams to maintain accurate documentation and data for audits and reporting.
    • Organize and support training and stakeholder update sessions to drive awareness and accountability.
    • Provide timely, actionable updates to leadership on program progress and roadblocks.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business , Supply Chain or related field
    • Experience in program or project management, with a focus on execution and delivery.
    • Hands-on experience supporting or implementing B-BBEE compliance programs.
    • Proven ability to use data and metrics to track performance and drive process improvements.
    • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Process improvement experience in a regulated environment.

    IT Services Support Specialist, IT Services Global Service Desk (GSD)

    The successful IT Support Technician will be customer focused and motivated by team success. You will be innovative and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while dealing with a high volume of requests.     Key job responsibilities

    • Provides comprehensive technical support to Amazon Corporate employees worldwide.
    • Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries received via web chat, telephone calls, email, ticketing system, all in a timely manner, in accordance with team standards.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoots end user computing problems including analyzing the problem, identification of appropriate resources, testing of proposed fixes and follow-up to ensure the problem has been resolved.
    • Creates and submits detailed call logs documenting customer interactions that are accurate, thorough, and timely.
    • Informs customer of needed repairs and answers basic questions. Ensures that customer understands and is satisfied with work completed.
    • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) through the effective use of Knowledge management.
    • Manage a case count between 15-25 tickets.
    • Manage concurrent support conversation.
    • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant support policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
    • Assists with activities to triage and escalate any system or network outage to reduce downtime.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting
    • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
    • Experience with network troubleshooting and support
    • Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications

    Data Center Project Manager, Critical Projects Implementation Team

    We are currently seeking a Data Center Project Manager to serve as a technical resource within Amazon data centers in South Africa. The position will be based in Cape Town, South Africa and will involve 20-30% travel to support projects across the Middle East and Africa. You will be part of a highly creative, efficient team tasked with tackling the most fascinating and challenges in designing, building, and operating Amazon data facilities.

    The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for project oversight and review of all disciplines including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural. A fundamental understanding of these systems is required, as the individual will be expected to identify areas for improvement as well as act on data provided from other team and organizations. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to design, develop and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both independent contribution as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope of projects will include but not limited to the improvement of electrical, mechanical, fire detection and building automation system. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

    • Project management and oversight of construction related activities as they relate to modifying existing infrastructure for the purpose of installing new or to replace end of life equipment. This will include the ownership of the project scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Provide project management for specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers.
    • Electrical design and review of designs associated with the optimization of existing data centers.
    • Construction/project package drawing review.
    • Creation of project scope, request for proposals, and capital requests.
    • Total project quality including the creation of a commissioning plan and oversight of the execution.
    • Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management.
    • Operational support including review of procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives.
    • Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis associated with equipment or electrical failures.
    • Work with contractors and vendors to deliver efficient and high quality project turnovers.
    • Be a leader within the group as well as within internal and external teams that support the data center.
