Description

• Responsible for performing entry level engineering analysis, design, planning, review and inspection for small to medium projects for the Aviation Airside Systems team.
• Computer aided design (Autodesk AutoCAD)
• Prepares portions of project documents 
• Edits specifications 
• Prepare moderate design tasks 
• Provide input on project documents 
• Support with proposal preparation and market/clients analysis. 

Job Requirements
Minimum required qualification, experience, knowledge & skills: 

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 
• Strong academic record 
• Good oral and written communication skills in English 
• Work well in a team. 
• Programming skills is advantageous

Description

• Permanently on site as the Senior Construction Manager
• Managing all the contractors on site, managing/coordinating the integrated programme
• Monthly reports (including, programme, cost report, variations orders, RFI, site instructions, project budget)
• Manage the site resident engineers
• Chairing of weekly meetings, taking down minutes,
• Payment certificates,
• Close out of the project, lessons learned report, Final account.
• Link between the design team in SA and the RE’s and client on site.
• Basically stage 5 and 6 as we know it in SA. 

Job Requirements
Minimum experience, knowledge & skills:

• Minimum 20 years relevant (food & beverage / consumer good manufacturing industry) site work experience & to be vetted by Client.
• Must have more than 20 years for architecture/civil/structural/MEPF type of site works. 
• Knowledge in the building construction industry including: 
• Managing initial topographical studies
• Feasibility studies for financial and technical validation
• Working with architects and design consultants
• Liaison with local authorities on applicable permits
• Site ground levels
• Underground services
• Building foundations
• Working with structural engineering consultants on pre-engineered steel manufacture and erection
• Building and erection
• Electrical services for building and process equipment
• Installation of all process, utilities, packaging, and warehouse infrastructure.
