Qualification & Experience Required

• Matric
• Relevant IT Degree/Diploma/Certificate
• 3+ Years Application Development experience in C# .Net
• Experience in Mobile Development (Native & Hybrid)

Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, Create, Test and Document new and amended programs
• Develop applications by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout development life cycle
• Responsible for testing and debugging programs, between programs at the application level, and the interface between the application and other applications/systems

Key Competencies

• Experience of SDLC, ALM, GIT or TFS required
• Experience with analysing, developing, deploying, monitoring and supporting applications
• Experience in the following required: C#.Net frameworkASP.Net MVCMS SQLHTML 5JavascriptCSSJqueryWCF or SOAPAzureAngularJS

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technical field or Technical certifications CCNA or JNCIA or equivalent
• Minimum four years’ relevant work experience in telecom industry
• Requires technical experience in telecom industry including data centre installations
• Knowledge of platforms including OTN, DWDM, SDH, Data (Ethernet, IP/MPLS, OSPF, BGP).
• Knowledge in supporting transmission and switching equipment from leading manufacturers. i.e. Mikrotik, Juniper, Tejas Networks etc
• Experience working with AC and DC power as well as PSU units
• Must use B/OSS tools effectively to record information accurately and concisely in a timely manner

Duties

• Provide field support, resolve incidents and assigned problems, install, maintain and manage network equipment
• 1st Level 24/7 field support, escalation / on-call
• Proactive monitoring of equipment & facilities
• Network installation, testing & commissioning, bringing into service, integration
• Cross connects & jumping
• Maintain records, inventory and spares
• Receive equipment, bench test, storage and RMA return handling
• Incident and problem resolution as directed by NOC / TAC
• Provide Service Desk / NOC cover during an Emergency / Disaster Recovery event
• Assist Service Manager as directed
• Assist with technical shareholder support / shareholder consultancy and sales support as well as with network equipment vendor management
