    Stock Accountant

    Job Description:

    • Overall responsibility to drive compliance at terminal level to the Stock Control Standard, SAP, EDI and Fuelfacs policies and procedures.

    Accountable for performing the following critical tasks with emphasis on accuracy and quality:

    • Daily/Weekly/Monthly inventory reconciliation
    • Out of tolerance inventory loss/gain investigations
    • Explanations and execution of corrective action plans.
    • Daily / Monthly Hauler loss/Gains monitoring and control
    • Ensure Hauler payments, query are resolved timeously

    Fosters compliance culture at the facility through effective execution of all administration controls which include but are not limited to:

    • Hauler Payments
    • User Access
    • Segregation of Duties
    • SOX controls

    Collaborates with plant management (Terminal Manager) / Administrator Compliance) in addressing gaps and trends from Stock Control Administrative reviews.

    • Ensure corrective actions are implemented and “open” items from Audits are closed in prescribed time.
    • Handling and processing of Joint Venture accounts

    Professional Qualification and Certifications:

    • 3-years Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Supply Chain

    Work Experience:

    • 3-5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, reconciliation

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving
    • Attention to Details
    • Business and Financial Acumen
    • Ensure full compliance with all JV (Joint Venture) accounting and for all Oil Industry partners

    Electrical Engineer

    Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

    • Compliance with Electrical Safe Work Practices Standards specific to Refineries or Oil and Gas Installations
    • Performs design reviews of electrical distribution systems (LV & MV), motor starters, generators, VSD applications, lighting, cathodic protection, earthing & lightning protection, UPS
    • Project management: Scoping of the project, considering alternatives, design, specification, costing, procurement, installation and commissioning.
    • Leading single and multi-disciplinary projects, managing safety, cost, schedule and quality of installation
    • Supports the Reliability & Maintenance Department with technical problem solving and investigations
    • Interfacing with external organizations including local authorities and Eskom
    • Manage the outputs and review designs of Engineering Design Contractors
    • Participating in constructability reviews for project and maintenance activities relevant to electrical installations and be part of project teams accepting installations and participating in commissioning activities as required
    • Compiling and reviewing Technical Standards to be applied on site
    • Participating in manufacturing meetings with vendors and  Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
    • Supporting refinery Turn Arounds with technical and supervisory oversight
    • Mentor graduates & interns

    Required Qualifications:

    • University degree - BSc Eng (Elec) or BTech (Elec)
    • 5 years working experience in the following fields: Refinery  /  Terminals or Oil and Gas Facilities
    • Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards eg SANS 10142, IEC, EX Standards
    • Knowledge of OHSACt and regulations applicable to Electrical Installations
    • Solid experience with electrical installations in hazardous areas and relevant regulations & standards
    • Strong technical knowledge on motors, transformers, protection, LV/MV switchgear, earthing, power electronics and associated standards

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • ECSA Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration
    • Preferably experienced in the oil & gas environment
    • Experience on large industry related projects either in South Africa or global

    Other Requirements

    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Good problem solving ability
    • Ability to work under pressure

    An added advantage would be experience in the design and implementation of control and instrumentation systems, interfacing to DCS, SIS or PLC systems, selection of instrumentation and P&ID development.

    Operator

    The role includes the following operations or activities:

    • The operator role can be in any area in the plant’s operating area i.e. blending, filling, bulk loading, dis-patching, warehousing, forklift operations
    • Roles include activities in Health, Safety and Environment, Compliance, Forklift and Warehouse operation, Stock count and re-conciliation activities
    • Achieve set KPIs and daily targets.

    Job Description:

    • Stock count and reconciliations: Counts items received , Participate in the monthly stock count, Accountable for daily reconciliation of raw materials consumed in manufacturing and packaged goods manufactured or despatched.
    • Forklift truck and Warehouse operations: Operate the forklift, Stack items at the warehouse, Pick items, Load and Offload items, Receipt items, Forklift maintenance checks
    • Blending operations: Tank gauging, Pipeline set up, Tank washing , Decants additives, Base Oil, Isotank offloading process
    • Filling operation: Operate a Filling Line process, Receives empty containers, Line wash management, Sample, draw product samples, Mass/Weight checking,  Filters, check, clean and replace filters on manifolds as and when required, Videojet operation Performs daily pre- and post-operation maintenance on Videojet machines. Label items, Label incoming raw materials with correct CSCA product codes.
    • Bulk Loading operations: Vehicle tank checking, Weighing of tankers, Receives empty vehicles, Sample, draws product samples, Tanker loading, Tank sealing, Pipeline and tankship movements, Pipeline set up.
    • Health, Safety and Environment: Adhere to set polices and standards ,  Housekeeping, Safety procedures, Meetings.
    • Compliance

    Professional Qualification and Certifications:

    • Minimum Matric qualification
    • Forklift licence

    Work Experience:

    • Blending, Filling, Dispatching , Warehousing and Bulk loading skills
    • Petroleum Experience (Oil and Gas) or FMCG
    • Operations / Manufacturing / Production Experience
    • Forklift Driver/Operator
    • Stock Counting/Reconciliation

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Numeracy skills
    • Computer Literacy
    • Equipment, operational/production/manufacturing knowledge
    • Analytical thinking
    • Warehousing operation
