    Account Manager - Gold Processing

    What's the role?
    We’re looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to look after the Gold Processing segment in the South Western Gauteng area ( i.e Carletonville , Randfontein , Krugersdorp ) areas who will take ownership of market share for Hilti for all activities in the assigned territory, and further develop profitable sales. This is no ordinary sales job - ours is a uniquely high performing and supportive working culture.

    What does the role involve?

    • You will take the ownership in the assigned territory to develop sales by utilizing all elements of our sales process to effectively analyze, implement and control the opportunities within the territory to achieve the assigned targets for defined territory or market segment.
    • You will find yourself in a variety of places such as Mining sites, Construction sites, Mining plants or in offices and warehouses.
    • You will also build fruitful working relationships with all levels - partners, contractors, system integrators & end users, and actively manage and develop the growth of key products within the sales territory by targeting the appropriate customer groups and ensure successful introduction of new products.
    • You will ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both buying and potential customers within the customer platform, to develop profitable growth.
    • You will actively and effectively demonstrate, service, train, and (where appropriate) test Hilti products; and to be successful you must understand the market thoroughly and know the players, therefore you will obtain information on competition, market price levels, new launches, seminars, new outlets, quality issues, product deliveries and report in monthly reports.

    What you need is :

    • A completed tertiary level qualification (Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
    • Minimum 3-5 years technical sales experience
    • Experience in the Mining or Construction industry (preferred)
    • Microsoft Office Skills
    • Excellent English and Afrikaans Skills (Written and Spoken)
    • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Commitment, courage and competitive drive
    • A willingness to learn and challenge yourself
    • Strong technical skills
    • Valid driver’s license
    • High level of motivation, very strong customer focus and a continuous improvement mentality required
    • Business acumen and excellent knowledge of the job market and network across the sector

    Account Manager- Agriculture

    What's the role?
    We’re looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to look after the agriculture segment in the Gauteng province for our focused customers. This role requires travel to the other provinces , on an adhoc basis , as required i.e Limpopo , Mpumalanga . This account manager will take ownership of market share for Hilti for all activities in the assigned territory, and further develop profitable sales. This is no ordinary sales job - ours is a uniquely high performing and supportive working culture.

    What does the role involve ?
    The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies to build long term, sustainable and profitable relationships with the customer. The role involves professional field sales and high level customer consultation in the defined territory within the target industry. The job holder needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the Hilti brand in the market place.

    What you need is :

    • A completed tertiary level qualification (preferred )

    • Experience in the agricultural sector is preferred
