    Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

    The Role

    You'll integrate into an agile environment, being an ambassador to drive quality within the team. You'll be in charge of all testing activities, including exploratory, usability, performance, acceptance, integration, and security testing depending on the needs of the team.  You will be expected to automate tests and processes whenever appropriate in order to remove boring repetitive tasks and help the team frequently deliver value to the client. 
    Main Requirements

    •     Solid engineering background
    •     Expert level knowledge in at least one technical area of testing (Automation / Load & Performance / Security)
    •     Expert level knowledge of physical testing
    •     Experience with one of Java/ .NET / Scala
    •     Excellent knowledge of testing concepts, architecture and practices
    •     Experience with commonly used testing tools (e.g. Selenium / Appium / Rest Assured / Postman)
    •     Fluent in English, written and spoken


    Nice to have

    •     Successfully applied some Agile/XP/Scrum practices and are enthusiastic about Agile techniques (TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment)
    •     Knowledge of Usability testing
    •     Experience working closely with Business Analysts and aiding user story creation
    •     Experience mentoring junior testers and helping to affect institutional change 
    •     Experience with Docker

    Full Stack Developer

    The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for the following:

    • Providing technical leadership within their team
    • Consistently delivering to challenging business objectives and adhere to Service Level Agreements with commercial implications for success and failure
    • Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
    • Utilising Agile Technical practices; TDD, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Pair Programming, etc
    • Introducing Open Source libraries and tools as appropriate to optimise the delivery timescale and quality of the software product

    The following skills and experience are required:

    • Java Virtual Machine based environment: Java, Scala, Groovy, Clojure, Kotlin 
    • Strong Object Oriented programming skills
    • Service Oriented Architectures: ReSTful, Microservices
    • Strong Front End experience: JavaScript, React 
    • Experience with version control (Git/Github, Mercurial)
    • You will have been involved with all aspects of software delivery and lifecycle, from inception phase to delivery
    • You will have solid experience working on bespoke built enterprise OO applications
    • You have successfully applied Agile/XP/Scrum practices and introduced Agile techniques and you may have coached teams to apply them effectively, thanks to your outstanding Agile expertise and communication skill.
    • Excellent communication and mentoring skills, good verbal and written communication
