Supply Chain Management Graduate Trainee at FAIS Ombud SA

Roll out of the Programme: Recommended candidates will be given an opportunity to learn under a dedicated mentor. Graduates will be assigned to the Supply Chain Department and exposed to various competency-based training.

Requirements

• Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
• South African citizen with a valid South African Identity document.
• Passion for public service and an interest/desire to work in the Financial Sector.
• Strong academic background and high levels of integrity.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment, willing to learn and work extra hours.
• Energetic, self-driven and deadline driven.
• Must be computer literate.

Key Performance Areas:

• Demand Planning: Forecasting and anticipating customer demand to ensure adequate inventory and production levels.
• Supplier Selection: Choosing reliable and cost-effective suppliers.
• Negotiation and Contract Management: Establishing favorable terms with suppliers.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Tracking supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
