    Business Analyst

    Job description:

    • The successful candidate will be function as the link between business objectives and technology development capabilities. The candidate will primarily be involved in the analysis of functionality for the PSG CRM platform used by PSG Advisers nationally.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess and validate development requirements received from stakeholders before submitting for development.
    • Closely working with business (pre-development) and testing ( post-development ) to ensure requirements are delivered in an expected format.
    • The candidate will frequently function as the representative of the team in sessions with business.
    • Documentation of platform functionality in consistent sustainable format.
    • Assist testers with UAT test packs
    • Implement processes for gathering, reviewing and analysing development requirements.

    Minimum requirements:

    • BCom / BSc degree or equivalent qualification
    • Minimum of 1-2 years' Business Analysis experience in the financial services industry
    • Good understanding of the software development process
    • Good negotiation ability and communication abilities
    • Ability to effectively translate business requirements in technology terminology
    • Ability to explain technical issues back to business for decision making

    Advantageous:

    • Experience in analysing CRM solutions
    • Agile / Scrum experience
    • Knowledge of wealth management and adviser value proposition requirements advantageous
    • Experience in creating conceptual prototypes and mock-ups where applicable

    Competencies required:

    Acquisition Specialist Wealth

    Job description:

    • This role mainly supports and takes accountability for the ongoing focused acquisitions of suitably profiled financial advisers of small and large financial service businesses’ and brokerages who are aligned to PSG’s brand and culture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify potential financial advisers as possible acquisitions
    • Drive the appointment approval process engaging with all relevant stakeholders
    • Drive strategic initiatives relating to acquisitions in partnership with regional managers
    • Deliver on and continuously review the overall value proposition
    • Assist with the vesting process of new acquisitions
    • Ensure newly appointed advisers generate new business in line with targets.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Completed business qualification such as BCom, CA or CFP
    • 3 – 5 years experience in the analysis of financial information and / or valuation processes within the financial services industry
    • Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least one other of the official South African languages
    • Computer literacy (MS Office including Advanced Excel)

    Wealth Adviser

    Job description:

    • This is an opportunity for a dynamic Wealth Adviser to join a well-established office.  In this role you will be allocated a portfolio of clients to assist with financial planning and advice as well as new client relationships to be developed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial advice and planning
    • Handle and solve client enquiries
    • Client portfolio management
    • Compile and process of new policy applications, administration and compliance
    • Draw up compliance on renewals
    • New Business development and maintenance

    Minimum requirements:

    • BCom (Finance / Business Finance / Investments / Financial Planning Law / Financial Sciences or Investment Management or BCom (Economics)
    • Regulatory Exam (RE5) for Representatives passed
    • 1-2 years’ experience in a financial planning environment
    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
    • Fluent in both written and spoken English and one other official South African language
