    Network Controller

    Requirements :

    • National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or Grade 12 with any of the following: MCSE (Core Infrastructure), MCSE (data Management), Latest Certification in IT Systems Support, NQF level 5 Certificate in Information Technology. A Valid Driver's license.

    Duties :

    • Provide transversal applications and desktop/end user support to the District including support of HPRS, VDI, HIS, SQL and mobile applications. Provide ICT technical as well as telephony support for the district.
    • Monitor and supervise the acquisition and replacement of information technology hardware and software. LAN and WAN troubleshooting, repair and support. Install, configure and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
    • Provide a risk management service using the enterprise application and management system. Submit weekly and monthly ICT reports to supervisor.

    Stores Assistant Level 2

    Requirements :

    • ABET/Grade 10 or equivalent qualification. Computer literacy will be an added advantage. Be a team player, organising skills and be able to work under pressure. Good understanding of Batho Pele Principles and six Ministerial Priorities.

    Community Liaison Officer - Community Based HTS & TB Lay Counsellor Mentor

    Requirements :

    • Degree or Diploma in Psycho - Social Science, 3-5 years training mentoring experience and registration with a relevant professional council, experience in HIV Children and Adult Disclosure and HIV-TB Adherence and Disclosure counselling including the HIV Counselling Certificate. Excellent time management, organizational skills, written and communication skills, good listening skills.
    • Self –motivated and goal orientated, people management skills, Presentation and teamwork skills, analytical and solution orientated, ability to thrive well, Under pressure, ability to efficiently communication to technical and non-technical Personnel at various levels.     Duties :

    • Maintain the emotional well-being for HIV-TB Lay Counsellors, provide a support system for the HIV-TB programme Lay Counsellors, create an open, candid atmosphere for HIV -TB Lay Counsellors to confide and trust in the mentor. Collaborate with and offer effective oversight to all Community Based HTS/TB Developmental partners.
    • Facilitate creation of Community Based Support Adherence Groups. Ensure skills transfer by facilitating opportunities for Lay Counsellor to grow. Assist in ensuring the delivery of quality counselling services to the clients, Provides weekly and monthly Mentorship and HTS Performance report to Sub District and District.
    • Facilitate Training on RTCQI and Ensure that Lay Counsellors are implementing Internal Quality Control and Proficiency Testing as required. Mentor Lay Counsellors on different modalities for HTS, such as Index testing, HIV Self Screening.
    • Provide mentorship to all non-medical site’s providers, other governmental organizations such as Correctional Services, HTS-TB partners, tertiary institutions, Improve the efficiency of HIV-TB counselling in meeting HIV and AIDS programs indicators, Assist Community Based Organizations to map out Hot Spots and identify different Key populations within the Community. 
    • Ensures that HTS-TB targets are achieved by advocating for resources and offer support, accordingly, Check and monitor HIV testing Kits orders against targets and assist with ordering projections and analyze performance patterns.
    • Interrogate reported Web, HIS HTS-TB data and liaise with NGO managers regarding HTS-TB Lay Counsellor’s HR related issues e.g., appointment, dismissal, leaves etc., Conduct induction/orientation of new HTS/TB counsellors.
    • Keeps database of all HIV-TB Lay Counsellors working in the non-medical sites that are under supervision. Partnership with WBPHCOT, GAC, JAC, DSD, DOE, DHE and RTC as local stakeholders.

    Operational Manager Nursing Grade 1 (Surgical Ward)

    Requirements :

    • A Minimum of Diploma/ Degree in General Nursing Science, registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse. Current SANC receipt as a General Nurse and Midwifery.
    • A Diploma or Degree in Nursing Administration/ Health Services Management will be an added advantage. A minimum of Seven (7) years appropriate/ recognizable experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse.

    Porter

    Requirements :

    • A Minimum of Grade 10 (authentic School report) or Relevant NQF level 2 or ABET Level 4. Able to read and write. Working experience in the public service environment or experience as a porter will be an added advantage.

    Operational Manager Nursing PNB3 (PAEDS)

    Requirements :

    • Basic Qualification accredited with SANC in terms of Government Notice R425 ( i.e Diploma / Degree in Nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a professional nurse plus a post basic qualification in Child Nursing Science with the duration of one year accredited with SANC in terms of Government notice R212.
    • A minimum of 9 years appropriate / recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a professional nurse with SANC in General nursing.

    Medical Specialist Grade 1 – 3 Radiology

    Requirements :

    • Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent. MBBCh/MBCHB, Medical Specialist in Radiology – MMED Radiology and FC (Rad) and active registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Grade 1 – None after registration with HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.
    • Grae 2 – A minimum of 5 years, appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA as a medical Specialist in Radiology.
    • Grade 3 – A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate experience as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.

    Duties :

    • Inherent requirements of the job: Participate in the after-hours call system (Commuted overtime is compulsory). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Excellent team player.
    • Good clinical expertise in general radiology. Good record of clinical governance, research, teaching, and training of medical officers at all levels in Diagnostic Radiology. Excellent managerial, interpersonal, leadership, administrative, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    (KEY RESULT AREAS/OUTPUTS):

    • Provide supervision of clinical service delivery within the Radiology Division to ensure excellent clinical services of diagnosis, investigations, and treatment in inpatient, outpatient and emergency contexts. Take overall responsibility for the comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Radiology service at Pholosong Reginal Hospital, reporting to the Clinical Manager.
    • Responsible for a strong academic program within the wider Radiology teaching program, including relevant research and continuing medical education for staff.
    • Liaise and collaborate with all surgical and medical disciplines to support the delivery of best practices for patient care. Responsible for corporate governance and management activities, ensuring quality output and optimal use of resources.
    • Communications skills include report generation, letter writing consultation, verbal skills, liaison with support service, nursing and Professions Allied of Medicine. Coordinate and manage after-hours support for Diagnostic Radiology services. Coordinate and participate in outreach programs to the facility’s drainage area.

    Chief Radiographer Grade 1 – 2

    Requirements :

    • Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Radiography. Certificate of registration with HPCSA. Current annual registration with HPCSA.
    • Minimum, of 3 years of experience as a production Radiographer.

    Duties :

    • Ensure effective and efficient management and supervision of Radiography staff and services. Ensure effective and efficient management of radiography equipment according to an ideal Hospital Realization and Maintenance Framework according to SAHPRA and OHSC.
    • Adhere and ensure compliance with Radiation Control Board and HPCSA legislation.
    • Production of high-quality diagnostic radiographs in accordance with prescribed protocols. Provision, supervision and management of a 24-hour service delivery.
    • Be prepared to work early, late, weekend shifts and night shifts according to roster allocation. Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders. Partake and facilitate staff and student development. Plan and organize the provision of Radiography services according to the vision and mission statements of the Department of Health.
    • Prioritize the implementation of cost-saving measures in accordance with the PFMA. Ensure a high level of patient care. Ensure patient safety incident writing and route course analysis is documented, reported, and submitted to the relevant stakeholders. Communicate with external and internal professionals to ensure patient safety and fair treatment.

    Ultrasound Radiographer Grade 1 – 2

    Requirements :

    • National Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound Radiographer/ B-Tech Ultrasound Radiographer. Registration with Health Professions Council of Sound Africa (HPCSA) in Ultrasound Radiographer.
    • Current registration with HPCSA for 2021/2022 as Ultrasound Radiographer.
    • A minimum of 0 to 10 years as a Sonographer.

    • Use Ultrasound machine to view interprets images with sound waves for the diagnostic and treatment of medical conditions.
    • Co-ordinate and organise daily workload/ running of the department. Must have knowledge of department functions and equipment. Ensure that equipment is adequately maintained.
    • Attend seminars/congresses to keep up to date with the new advance in technique and technology. Monitor stock in the stockroom and examination rooms. Maintain adequately weekly, monthly annual patient statistics.
    • Promote teamwork-operate work relationships amongst staff members and other health Care workers. Liaise with Physician for more information or help in department.
