    Quality Technician

    Job Purpose:

    • The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining ISO 9001 requirements. This role will focus on quality inspection, process monitoring, and supporting production teams to enhance product reliability.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum education (essential):

    • Diploma / Technical Qualification – Mechanical, Electrical, or Quality.

    Minimum education (Desirable):

    • BTech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
    • Certifications in IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC/HWMA-A-620.

    Minimum applicable experience (years):

    • 5 years’ experience within a manufacturing/electronic assembly environment.
    • 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance and Control position.

    Required nature of experience:

    • Experience in Manufacturing, Defence, Aeronautics, Automotive, or Telecommunications industries.
    • Hands-on experience with various measuring equipment.
    • Strong understanding of fault analysis and corrective actions implementation.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Experience with assembly techniques and process monitoring.
    • Exposure to ISO 9001 (IATF16949/AS 9100 beneficial), ISO 14000.

     Skills and Knowledge (essential):

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel – Intermediate Level).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.

    Other:

    • Fluent in English.
    • Ability to work independently and accurately.
    • Willingness to work occasional overtime.
    • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
    • Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 kg.


    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Quality Inspection & Compliance

    • Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to IPC and ISO standards.
    • Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory quality requirements.
    • Perform first article inspections and document findings accurately.
    • Assist in internal and external quality audits

    Process Monitoring & Improvement

    • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Identify and address process deviations promptly.
    • Collaborate with production teams to implement quality improvements.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality management.

    Fault Analysis & Corrective Action

    • Investigate non-conformances and determine root causes.
    • Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects.
    • Maintain detailed reports of quality issues and resolutions.
    • Track defect trends and recommend process enhancements.

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control processes.
    • Generate and present quality reports to management.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 documentation requirements.
    • Support preparation for audits and regulatory inspections.

    Training & Development

    • Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control processes.

    Bookkeeper

    Job Purpose:

    • The Bookkeeper will be responsible for processing and reconciling financial transactions to maintain accurate records and support the financial operations of the company.

    Requirements

    Minimum education (essential):

    • Grade 12 with Accounting and Mathematics as subjects.
    • A diploma or degree in General Accounting.

    Minimum applicable experience (years):

    • At least 3 years of experience with cashbooks and reconciliations.

    Required nature of experience:

    • Cashbook reconciliation and financial administration.
    • Processing of tenant deposit refunds and transfers.
    • Handling creditor accounts, invoices, and payments.
    • Managing banking transactions and electronic filings.
    • Assisting financial managers with reporting and ad hoc tasks.

    Skills and Knowledge (essential):

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience with Pastel Accounting or similar software.
    • Familiarity with various internet banking platforms.

    Other:

    • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Good communication and human-relations skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Reconcile approximately 45 cashbooks monthly, ensuring all reconciliations are completed by the 2nd working day of the new month.
    • Capture deposits, receipts, and payments on the MDA system.
    • Process tenant deposit reconciliations, refunds, and transfers.
    • Capture creditor payments on various banking platforms.
    • Obtain invoices and prepare payment requests for ad hoc and recurring expenses.
    • Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing of all payment requests.
    • Print and review complete bank statements for all company accounts at month-end.
    • Assist with proof of payments.
    • Provide weekly reports on bank balances and cash flow planning.
    • Prepare reconciliations for company credit cards and petty cash claims.
    • Assist the Financial Manager and Accountants with any required tasks.
    • Support general finance operations as needed.

    Facilities & IT Coordinator

    Job Purpose:

    • Your primary focus will be facilities management—coordinating maintenance, office upkeep, and supplier management—while also handling basic IT support through ticketing and escalation.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum education (essential):

    • National Senior Certificate (Matric Certificate)

    Minimum Education (Desirable):

    • Any relevant qualification or certification in Facilities Management, IT, or a related field (but practical experience and a willingness to learn are more important).

    Minimum Desirable applicable experience (years):

    • 1-3 years in facilities coordination, office administration, or IT Support

    Required nature of experience:

    • Some exposure to facilities management, IT support, or office administration (formal experience is not required, but preferred).
    • Basic understanding of building maintenance, vendor coordination, and office operations.
    • Familiarity with IT troubleshooting (ticketing systems, setting up workstations, resolving minor IT issues).

    Skills and Knowledge (essential):

    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Proactive problem-solving abilities
    • Basic IT troubleshooting and networking skills
    • Ability to coordinate and manage external contractors for maintenance and security services
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    KEY Responsibilities

    Facilities Management

    • Assist in the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of office spaces, warehouses, and common areas.
    • Coordinate repairs and servicing (plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, general maintenance).
    • Manage office supplies, furniture, and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
    • Support with facility-related projects, including office moves, renovations, and space planning.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues.
    • Work with vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and facility needs.

    Basic IT Support & Ticketing

    • Log and manage IT support tickets, ensuring proper escalation to the Managed Services Provider (MSP) when needed.
    • Assist with basic troubleshooting (printers, desktops, connectivity issues).
    • Set up and maintain office IT equipment, such as workstations and network devices.
    • Monitor IT asset tracking, ensuring proper documentation of equipment.
    • Support with network connectivity checks and report issues for escalation.
