    Senior Specialist – Engineering Projects

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To manage and implement platform projects from conceptual phase to implementation.
    • To manage and implement cost reduction/quality improvement projects.
    • Advising on and reviewing manufacturing methods and plans for the project
    • Advising on and reviewing manpower and equipment plans for the project.
    • Project technical issue investigation, analysis and resolution
    • Ensure compliance to all aspects of SHEQ.
    • Conduct acceptance testing in the factory and performance testing.
    • Develop project plans and ensure the project is executed within budget, resource, and time constraints.
    • Managing the planning and implementation of the entire project including mentoring and planning the project release
    • Must be able to understand the characteristics of a project and apply sound judgement of project development cycle.
    • Designs as required by the specific project, including the specification required and sourcing of the various components.
    • Ensure all work carried out complies with the correct standards in terms of accuracy and safety.
    • Responsible for review and quality of all project’s technical documentation
    • Manage and control Engineering changes on the project.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies and equipment.
    • Monitoring and analysing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for process improvement continuously.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • BSc/BEng - Mechanical Engineering or BEng/BSc - Mechatronics
    • 4 – 6 years in project management
    • 4 – 5 Years’ experience within Manufacturing
    • Recognized qualification in project management
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Project management proficiency.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Proven ability to deliver complex engineering solutions.
    • Planning, prioritizing and organizing skills.
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to interact with internal and external parties.
    • Press tooling, injection or extrusion process background would be favourable.

    Associate – Accounts Control

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Processing of supplier invoices, credit notes.
    • Ensure all invoices are approved with PO’s attached.
    • Follow up with suppliers for outstanding invoices, statements, POD and providing remittances.
    • Payment batch preparation.
    • Perform creditor recons.
    • Follow up on outstanding items.
    • Filing of invoices.
    • Resolve Price and Quantity variances from GRN to Invoice with internal departments.
    • Ad-hoc duties as required.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Diploma in Bookkeeping / Accounting
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in similar role
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    • SAP vendor knowledge preferred

    Trainee Engineer - Structural Design

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • SAP work dealing with Bill of material creation and changes.
    • Maintaining the Manusoft database for spares and service.
    • To manage and implement platform projects from conceptual phase to implementation.
    • To design products/components and/or make improvements/changes to existing products/components in line with market requirements and trends.
    • To manage and implement cost reduction/quality improvement projects.
    • Complete assigned projects, from cradle to grave.
    • Complete 2D and 3D drawings of required components, suitable for manufacturing.
    • Material improvement project creation and implementation.
    • Reduce cost of operations.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • BSc or Btech in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering Degree.
    • knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD.
    • Microsoft Packages.
    • Excellent communication.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • SAP knowledge advantageous.

    Associate - Export Planning

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To execute and administer all export transactions within the policies and guidelines of the company and exporting to country requirements.
    • Support Export Sales Manager to ensure what is forecasted is sold and shipped to respective customers.
    • Liaise with Supply Chain Factory Planning to determine stock availability and special production requests in line with sales forecast.
    • Processing all export shipments across multimodal transport means (road, sea, airfreight)
    • Execute shipments from South Africa and Cross trade shipments.
    • Liaise with export planners on orders, determine stock availability.
    • Maintaining optimum stock levels by managing export SKUs and aged stock    
    • Ensure trucks and containers are loaded efficiently and timeously.
    • Maintain customer satisfaction and smooth accurate documentation flow by adherence to export processes aligned with SARS regulations.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and shipping / transport agents.
    • Ensure all SARS regulations are adhered to.
    • Support Export Logistics Manager as and when required.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • A relevant Supply Chain / logistics qualification.
    • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics.
    • SAP knowledge
    • Microsoft Office: Excel, Power point, word, MS Projects

    Associate – Imports Controller

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that all import documentation is accurately completed, including invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and any required customs forms.
    • Interpret and apply customs regulations and tariffs to ensure compliance with local and international laws, avoiding penalties or delays in the clearing process.
    • Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate the customs clearance process, ensuring that all necessary clearances are obtained in a timely manner.
    • Responsible for the correct classification of goods according to tariff codes and appropriate valuation for duty calculations, ensuring submissions to customs are accurate.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and customs authorities, responding to inquiries and requests for additional information as necessary.
    • Assess and mitigate any risks associated with imports, including identifying potential customs issues or disputes and developing strategies to address them.
    • Maintain accurate records of all import transactions, customs documents, and communications, ensuring compliance with record retention policies.
    • Prepare reports on customs activities, duties paid, and any discrepancies or issues encountered during the customs process, and participate in audits as required.
    • Provide training and guidance to staff on customs compliance practices and procedures, keeping the team updated on changes in legislation and best practices.
    • Resolve any issues that arise during the customs clearance process, including delays, audits, or disputes, working closely with relevant stakeholders to find solutions.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement in the customs clearance procedures, implementing best practices to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 2 - 4 years of experience in import planning, logistics, or supply chain management.
    • Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs compliance requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
