DUTIES:

• Check if trucks are loaded properly to establish if there are no in-transit damages.
• Off-load Vehicles and containers in a safe manner.
• Assist in moving, lifting, Binning and Picking of heavy items.
• Operate forklift as per training manuals.
• Do continuous risk assessment before and after every task.
• Make sure the load is secured before lifting and moving it.
• Complete forklift checklist before commencement of every shift.
• Report all faults to the supervisor and Maintenance team.
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Report all near misses, incidents, accidents, unsafe conditions and acts as soon as possible.
• Carry out all reasonable instructions.
• You may be asked to work overtime.
• And ensure any related Ad hoc functions are performed as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric and Abet Level 4
• Must have 1 years’ experience in Warehousing.
• Applicants must be in possession of a valid forklift license.
• Must be prepared to work shifts.
• Be prepared to work after hours and weekends when required.
• Good communication skills
• Must be physically fit and able to work under pressure.

DUTIES:

• Ensure housekeeping is conducted in your area as you perform your duties.
• Know, understand, and follow the picking GLC743218 & Binning GLC743219 work procedure.
• Assist other team members as and when required.
• Work overtime as and when required.
• Achieve Picking rate of 19 lines per hour.
• Ensure all parts picking are delivered to the correct chutes in time.
• Ensure all parts picked are properly secured to avoid parts falling off.
• Ensure all work equipment is returned to and stored in the designated area when not in use.
• Be familiar with the Section 14 of the OHS act as was discussed in your induction.
• Ensure that you work according to the company’s work safe procedure.
• Ensure that your work environment is safe and report any unsafe acts or conditions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric and Abet Level 4
• Must have 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Must have a driver’s license
• Good communication skills.
• Must have general knowledge of spares identification, verification & understanding.
• Must be willing to be a team player, work with & assist other team members.
• Must be prepared to work overtime as & when necessary to meet deadlines.
• Crane & forklift licence will be an added advantage.
