    Test Engineer

    Description
    We’re looking for a Test Engineer to join our growing technology team here at ClearScore. A healthy mix of testing, analytical and exploratory skills are key if you want to be part of our cross-functional team of developers, designers, data analysts and product managers. You’ll be part of a whole eco-development-system of building, testing and deploying into production.

    Our Test Engineers work with:

    • Every member of our delivery team, driving our ways of working and promoting ClearScore principles
    • A web testing framework to test and release our global ReactJS app (we’re currently using Cypress)
    • A choice of API tools to test our backend microservices
    • Spinnaker and Jenkins to build and run our pipelines
    • Performance testing - our current tool of choice is Gatling
    • A robust native app testing framework to deliver new features to our global apps
    • A Quality Assistance program that involves working closely with developers and stops stories being ‘thrown over the fence’
    • Peer-to-peer review to improve our code and learn from it

    Requirements

    • Experience coding in any language. Our preference is JavaScript/TypeScript although we also use Scala, Swift and Kotlin in the company. You'll be required to walk through pull requests in a variety of different languages.
    • Experience working with developers in Agile teams – we work with developers, not against them.
    • Experience breaking down requirements into acceptance criteria.
    • Familiarity with Jira or other similar bug tracking systems.
    • You must be comfortable with ambiguity, part of your role will be to identify gaps in our understanding.
    • Experience working with Git (we use GitHub) to raise and review pull requests.
    • Comfortable with the command line (you don't need to be an expert in Vim, but a lot of our tools run from the terminal).

    Front End Developer

    The role

    We want experienced Front End Developers to come and join our close-knit agile delivery teams working on creating responsive web applications using the latest JavaScript technologies in React. You will love working in a high performance, entrepreneurial environment that values the craft of building cutting edge and beautiful web and mobile products.

    Within a couple of days of joining, you will deploy your code to production affecting millions of users globally and write new features to attract new users and engage our user base. You will develop products globally so we are able to tackle underserved markets and offer better deals to customers.

    We are always looking for ways to do things better and encourage new joiners to bring their ideas and ways of working to the table. Teach us some cool stuff and we'll teach you some, but most of all, you'll have fun doing it.

    Requirements

    • Expert Vanilla JavaScript skills and React
    • You live for unit and functional testing, using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library and Enzyme
    • Good knowledge of build tools such as Webpack, and/or RollUp
    • Desire to get involved with deployment pipeline technologies like AWS and Docker
    • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
    • Desire to mentor more junior members of the team and to pair program to share your knowledge across the team
    • Strong collaboration skills and impulse to share your knowledge across the Frontend team and the wider tech community
    • Understand and drive build processes and CI tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Circle CI)
    • You have opinions on what technologies and standards we should be using now and in the future - we always want to hear new ideas

    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Take ownership of recruiting a range of roles by liaising with hiring managers in the business to understand business goals, define role requirements, screen CVs, conduct phone interviews, scheduling interviews and manage offers.
    • Be a champion for hiring diverse talent as each international office grows.
    • Be an enthusiastic employer brand ambassador using social media and other content platforms to amplify ClearScore vacancies and inclusive culture stories. This will also include helping to build the ClearScore employer brand in each territory.
    • Deliver on multiple roles at any one time and effectively manage the recruitment process to deliver against team KPIs.
    • Be the champion of high quality hiring and efficient process. Maintain the standard of hiring in line with a global talent acquisition approach.
    • Strive to improve procedures and adapt to local marketing conditions.
    • Select and build relationships with sourcing platforms and suppliers to deliver cost controlled but rapid hiring solutions.

    Requirements

    • You will have experience delivering extraordinary talent acquisition in an in-house environment.
    • A variety of domain expertise will help but a good understanding of hiring in the technology sector is vital as we are scaling in this area.
    • You are a sourcing and networking expert offering innovation to solve talent acquisition challenges.
    • Ideally you will have gone through and/or love the challenges of fast-growing company. Tackling scalability, ambiguity and building up your resilience.
    • Either experience or the desire to be involved in culture and work-environment projects.
    • Data aware with the ability to set goals and make informed judgement calls.
    • You will be able to present using slide decks and use excel for your own tracking and analysis.
    • Independent thinking, and not being afraid to suggest new ideas.
    • Super organised and a high attention to detail - you’ll be comfortable working smart in a busy environment.
    • Familiarity with recruitment tools - LinkedIn recruiter, ATS among others.
