    Strategic Partnerships Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and Manage Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with city governments, academic institutions, NGOs, and healthcare organizations to support COPI’s objectives. Negotiate agreements and evaluate the impact of partnerships.
    • Enhance Corporate Reputation: Create communication strategies that promote Novo Nordisk’s efforts in tackling childhood obesity. Ensure consistent messaging, especially around physical activity and healthy eating for children.
    • Influence Public Policy and Government Relations: Advocate with government officials and policymakers to foster regulatory support for childhood obesity prevention, with a focus on disadvantaged communities.
    • Engage with Community Stakeholders: Work with community leaders and organizations to address socio-economic challenges and promote childhood obesity prevention at the local level.
    • Oversee Public Education and Awareness Programs: Design public education initiatives aimed at raising awareness of childhood obesity prevention. Partner with local governments and academic institutions to maximize outreach and evaluate the impact on children’s health.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Political Science, Communications, International Relations, or related field.
    • Master’s degree preferred, especially with a focus on public health or social sciences.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in public affairs, corporate affairs, or strategic partnerships.
    • Strong background in managing public health initiatives or obesity prevention programs.
    • Proven experience working with government bodies, community organizations, and advocacy groups.

    Sales Representative - Gauteng

    The position

    • As a Sales Representative your key responsibilities will be to change the outcomes of people affected by the diseases that we are involved in, the success of which is measured by achieving sales targets and growth in the allocated territory, by promoting Novo Nordisk products at healthcare professionals.
    • This will require that you execute sales strategies effectively, efficiently and ethically and participate as a member of a high performing team by sourcing and communicating market information to the team. 
    • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
    • Identifying potential customers and build strong relationships with existing customers.
    • Engaging in sales activities such as product presentations, demonstrations, and participation in congresses & scientific meetings.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet customer needs.
    • Providing accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and market trends.

    Qualifications

    • You hold a Bachelor degree, preferably in Science or Healthcare related field. You have an excellent written and verbal communication skills and good command of English. Moreover, you have:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry. Experienced in rare diseases will be considered as an added advantage
    • Valid driving Licence
    • You are able to demonstrate an ability and passion to influence from patient centred approach and have strong attention to quality and details 
    • You have good planning and organisational skills and the agility and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment 
    • You have the ability to engage people with different backgrounds (Science, business, etc.) and work within a diverse environment. You have good decision making, problem-solving skills, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate 
    • As a person you are a dynamic high-performer with a strong performance-driven track record who is highly engaged and demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with stakeholders, business development and drive their personal development.
