    HR Business Partner (Mpumalanga - Secunda)

    Description

    • Provide expert HR guidance and strategic partnering to align people’s practices with organisational objectives.
    • Oversee, lead and drive Employment Equity compliance within the region by implementing affirmative action measures, workforce transformation initiatives, and recruitment practices that align with EE targets and demographic requirements.
    • Lead and facilitate positive employee relations by advising managers on labour matters, promoting dispute prevention, resolving grievances within agreed timelines, and ensuring fair, consistent application of labour laws and company policies.
    • Lead and guide change management and cultural transformation by embedding organisational initiatives at the region and executing regional action plans on time.
    • Oversee and apply compensation and benefits principles by ensuring payroll input accuracy, resolving queries effectively, conducting pay and equity audits, and guiding employees in understanding reward structures and benefits.
    • Manage and oversee employee movement and separation processes, including transfers, promotions, and exits, ensuring policy and legal compliance.
    • Oversee and optimise HR processes by ensuring compliance with policies and systems, driving employee engagement.
    • Oversee recruitment in the region by ensuring timely filling of vacancies, building sustainable talent pipelines, and supporting diversity and inclusion goals.
    • Builds and manages strong internal and external stakeholder relationships by promoting HR services, participating actively in forums and consultations, addressing stakeholder concerns within agreed timeframes, and fostering collaborative partnerships.
    • Lead and drive employee engagement initiatives that strengthen morale and inclusivity.
    • Oversee learning and development delivery in the business unit by coordinating upskilling sessions, educating employees on policies and procedures, and building workforce capability in line with the plan.
    • Compile and present accurate and timely reports and workforce dashboards, submitting monthly HR reports as scheduled, implementing identified improvements, and providing actionable insights to support evidence-based management decisions.

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • B Tech or B Com in HR / Behavioural Sciences Management / Organisational Psychology or similar.
    • Post Graduate Diploma in Business management or related advantageous.
    • 7+ years HR Business Partnering Generalist experience.
    • 4+ years in mining or explosives industry advantageous.

    Extra Heavy Duty Driver (Gauteng - Ekandustria)

    Description

    • Ensure delivery arrives at customer within the time slot as allocated by Chief Inspector of explosives
    • Safe execution of delivery process
    • Adhere to public traffic regulations and CIE regulations (80 km/h speed limit)
    • Ensure explosives seals are intact and corresponds to delivery documentation.
    • Sign delivery documentation to confirm product has been correctly delivered and obtain customer signature.
    • Assist customer in offloading the vehicle.
    • Complete full vehicle inspection sheet before departing from Magazines (Daily)
    • Ensure vehicle license and explosives Operators card is still valid.
    • Ensure fire extinguishers are compliant.
    • Ensure proof of delivery is returned to Administration office for customer invoicing.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Code 14 driver’s license with valid category “D” Professional Driving Permit
    • At least 2 years’ experience, preferably within a supply chain explosives environment
    • Proven experience in explosives product handling and emergency processes (Hazchem)

    Training Facilitator (Mpumalanga - Various Locations)

    Description

    • To implement the unit operations plan by understanding the plan and activities including all projects and key performance measures, communicating to the relevant stakeholders and monitoring implementation daily  
    • To report on performance by tracking unit performance against targets, identifying progress and areas of concern, drafting reports and submitting quarterly and as required
    •  To comply with processes by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of processes, implementing the correct process and addressing any areas of concern daily  
    • To propose improvements to processes by identifying an area for improvement, presenting to line manager and providing additional information as relevant 
    • To determine training needs for the business by consulting with key stakeholders, defining skill gaps, identifying value-added solutions, developing structured training programmes, and securing approval for implementation annually or as required. 
    • To coordinate technical training by collaborating with relevant departments, assessing training requirements, staying updated with industry best practices, developing training materials where necessary, and scheduling and organising training sessions. 
    • To educate customers on new products by working closely with the Research and Design team, understanding product specifications, features, and benefits, developing effective training materials, and delivering product knowledge sessions. 
    • To support the achievement of customer and performance targets by planning and executing customer visits, conducting technical testing, identifying potential challenges, collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions, and implementing proactive measures. 
    • To enhance problem-solving and service delivery by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, engaging with internal and external customers, addressing concerns, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations, and providing expert technical support. 
    • To monitor expenditure against budget by receiving the financial report, reviewing expenditure totals against budget, addressing any areas of concern or anomalies and implementing corrective action monthly 
    • To maintain stakeholder relationships by liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, providing input and feedback actions, receiving feedback and contributions and collaborating as required  
    • To contribute to the team by participating in events, identifying areas of support required within the team and providing the required support, engaging with the team and being an active member of the team daily 
    • To implement self-development activities by identifying areas of development, sourcing options for capacity development activities, sourcing approval and completing the activities successful as relevant

    Requirements
