    Area Head of Product: Cold Store SAI

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate with commercial team to conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, client leads and maintain beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers and other business partners
    • Lead cross functional teams to drive product strategy (Value Proposition, Growth and Product Road Map)
    • Oversee key business projects related to cold store operations.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
    • Measure and ensure the success of new cold store projects against Business Case and make beneficial changes to deliver ROI and future projects.
    • Responsible for reviewing government and industry regulations to ensure the company’s actions comply with those regulations
    • Collaborate with other key stake holders to conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
    • Ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more
    • Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes.
    • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Manage inventory control, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of fruit products.
    • Ensure Certification in place for handling product to relevant markets (DALRRD/PPECB/China and USA, etc.)
    • Work with the Construction, Implementation and Delivery teams to ensure effective commissioning of the facility.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse and logistics personnel.
    • Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.

    Logistics and Coordination:

    • Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
    • Optimize logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

    ​​​​​​​Quality Control:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
    • Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of stored products, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

    Customer Relations:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
    • Develop a Commercial Strategy and implement accordingly.
    • Work with Maersk Reefer Sales Team to develop client pipeline.

    Financial Management:

    • Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
    • Analyze financial performance and generate reports for senior management.

    Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and expand business opportunities.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, incorporating best practices into the facility's operations.

    Customer Implementation Manager - MCL SAI

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Project Organisation and Planning

    • Develop a clear Project Charter for approval with an understanding of the Customers / Internal needs for each Project based on the Solutions signed off by the Customer / internal stakeholders in part of the Oppportunity win or any other assigned projects
    • Drive the on-site setup and establish key operational processes readiness before Operations Go Live with internal stakeholders and Customers. It includes storage solution setup, WMS (Warehouse Management System), TMS, WCS, Busines Requirements, Procurement, Testing, Recruitment, external vendors and Operational KPI activies.
    • Formalise Project Team organisation and work closely withProject Sponsors to achieve achieve projects objectives in a timely manner. Facilitate the Project Steering Committee Meeting for projects critical decision - making and escalation, if any.
    • Develops and maintains project plans to include all systemic, operational, and ustomer requirments. Drives the tasks ensure that each project is completed and meets the company and customer expectations using the global framework.

    ​​​​​​​Project Execution & Communication

    • Manages multiple projects concurrently and reaches out to the appropriate decision - makers and task owners on time to keep on track.
    • Actively seeks to avoid delays to project progress by facilitating regular meetings tro review project progress, open issues and risk logs with project team members.
    • Provide clear project communication and publish timely project status reports to all stakeholders.
    • Monitor and contract the project with scope change approval and timely tracking of gthe financial budget to ensure the project is delivered on schedule.
    • Perform project lesson learned and conduct handover to Operations upon project completion.
    • Adopt Maersk Project Implementation methodology, toolkits and templates to implement projects to provide clear project visibility got Global Metrics reporting and performance measurement.
    • Represents the company's intersts and protects the company's image with the customer, related, and externa parties. Actively builds a good rapport customers and external stakeholders.
    • Provide feedback and share best practices to Region / Global for future enhancement to our Implementation Processess and tools.

    Accountable for:

    • Project Delivery on-time and in-full with successful Go Live with no critical impacts to the Business
    • Business Requirements Document (BRD) sign -off
    • Management of hyper-care / ramp up phase
    • First month review with customer and first invoice on-time and full
    • Comply to Commercial agreement between Maersk and the Customer to avoid the risk of liabilities
    • Active signoff on assets / services procedured and cost control sheet

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Someone with:

    • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant PM experience; or a combination education and experience
    • Display leadership, inspires respect and trust;mobilizes others to achieve project objectives.
    • High energy and self-starter, Ability to operate independently and convey a sense of urgency.
    • Contract Logistics / Warehousing / Transport operations know-how, preferably at least 2 - 3years relevant working expeirence in a warehouse.

    Area Product Manager - Cold Chain

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Product Strategy

    • Define the Cold Chain Logistics (CCL) strategy for the SAI Area aligned with the Global & Regional CCL Strategy, implementation and execution principles;
    • Provide input to our Cold Store targets and footprint and identify opportunities;
    • Identify product priorities for integrated Cold Chain solutions and requirements, partner with the global team to develop suitable product offering across the SAI Area.

    Business Development

    • Drive product development projects locally;
    • Solution engineering and implementation support to Global CCL team;
    • Support with product expertise and solution-selling in sales calls;
    • Achieve growth targets with agreed product mix;
    • Collaborate with Sales on all Business Development responsibilities.

    P&L

    • Manage product performance in the area, ensuring targets are met.
    • Provide Pricing in line with global guidelines,
    • Product cost management for all CCL related Products.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Monthly Reporting on Performance

    Operational excellence

    • Implementation of global best practice and operating guidelines, drive continuous improvement;
    • Drive HSSE adherence, compliance & regulatory adherence in CCL sites;
    • Ensure sites are operating basis security / IT standards.
    • Ensure close collaboration with Operations to meet targets, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and enforce necessary controls for business execution (financially, operationally, and in terms of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment - HSSE)

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • At least 7 – 10 year’s solid Cold Chain Logistics experience with understanding of the value drivers;
    • Technical product knowledge including experience in product pricing and go-to-market strategies;
    • Ability to identify, develop new business and drive results including the fundamentals of future business cases;
    • Relevant commercially focused degree with an advanced management qualification would be preferable;
    • Proven senior level experience in logistics and services management within a large, preferably global, matrix structure;
    • Strong financial and business acumen;
    • Knowledge of the local SAI Cold Chain market;
    • Customer-centric and strong understanding of needs and pain points;
    • Self-directed/entrepreneurial;
    • Stakeholder management & collaboration in a matrix organization.
