    Mechanical Artisan

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintaining machinery and equipment on the site per required standard.
    • Maintaining and repairing site equipment and building maintenance.
    • Attend to plumbing, carpentry/welding, building, plastering and tiling.
    • Adherence to Planned and Preventative maintenance schedules
    • Improving OEE (overall equipment efficiency) of Utilities and Cellars Equipment.
    • Reduce unplanned downtime.
    • Health and Safety supervision of machinery, equipment and working environment.
    • Compliance to OHS Act.
    • Provide an effective Engineering Service to the Utilities and Cellars department.
    • Perform administrative tasks (job cards, quality check sheets, etc.)
    • Perform stand-in duties.
    • Leading and supervising people
    • Participate in TPM.

    The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

    • N3-N6 equivalent with Trade Certificate - Fitter and / or Turner, Mechanical Engineering
    • Grade 12 or Mechanical NTC3 qualification.
    • Experience in a Utility Plants and Cellar/Brewing operation will be advantageous.
    • Completed apprenticeship with recognized Institution i.e., was registered as an apprentice.
    • 3-5 relevant working experience in the FMCG
    • Ability to work under pressure and display good attention to detail.
    • Proven ability in problem solving and knowledge of the various problem-solving methods.
    • Must be self-motivated, innovative and able to work without or limited supervision.
    • To reflect good leadership behavior - towards colleagues, superior and company values
    • Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required.

    Machine Specialist

    Purpose of the Position:

    • To maintain all equipment to optimize availability of equipment and give assistance with the co- ordination of line activities to meet the production plan.

    You will be required to do the following:

    • Maintaining machinery and equipment on the site as per required standard.
    • Adherence to Planned and Preventative maintenance schedules.
    • Improving OPI and LP on all production lines.
    • Reduce unplanned downtime.

    • Support AM implementation and compliance to AM practices
    • Perform Planned job observations
    • Manage and plan shutdown activities on Fillers
    • Liaise with OEMs/Suppliers to source Filler spares
    • Custodian of Equipment maintenance plans and review process
    • Review 5-Why job cards on Fillers

    The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

    • N6 equivalent with Trade Certificate - Millwright preferably
    • Experience in a high speed, high-tech bottling operation will be advantageous.
    • Completed apprenticeship with recognized Institution i.e., was registered as an apprentice.
    • More than 5 years relevant practical experience
    • Ability to work under pressure and display good attention to detail.
    • Proven ability in problem solving and knowledge of the various problem-solving methods.
    • Must be self-motivated, innovative and able to work without or limited supervision.
    • To reflect good leadership behaviour - towards colleagues, superior and company values

    People Intern HBI

    Purpose of the job

    • This internship offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple People functions, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee engagement and HR operations, while contributing to projects that support the employee lifecycle.
    • The purpose is to give practical work experience to students who are in their final year of study and have a prerequisite to have practical work experience to obtain their qualification. The successful candidate will be expected to enter a 18-month contract.

    Key Responsibilities

    As the People Intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting recruitment activities, facilitating the design, and audit of role profiles , screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and engaging external candidates during the sourcing and screening process.
    • Assisting with onboarding and induction processes for new employees.
    • Data Integrity & Management: maintain clear and accurate employee data across all the function across systems.
    • Assisting in the coordination of training and development programs.
    • Supporting employee engagement initiatives.
    • Assisting with the preparation of HR reports, presentations, and documentation.
    • Contributing to HR compliance and policy updates.
    • Participating in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
    • Support with key activities on learning initiative including, co-ordination, administration and reporting of key learning interventions across the business.
    • Support to People Business Partners on People initiatives.
    • Support with co-ordination of virtual onboarding sessions.
    • Assist with administrative support on various projects where required.
    • Assist with any catering, travel arrangements as/when required. 

    Experience

    • Computer literacy – Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Excel skills essential – intermediate to advance skills required
    • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Is highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Can maintain confidentiality and professionalism
    • Has the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
    • Is a self-starter with a collaborative and proactive approach
    • South African citizen.

    Apprentice

    Position Description:

    • Undergoing training in the trade of the Millwright apprenticeship and to qualify as a Fitter & Turner.

    • Good technical problem-solving skills.
    • Have proven verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Attention to detail (meticulous and accurate); and
    • Sound knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Matric with Maths and Science
    • N2 in Engineering studies with relevant Mechanical trade theory. (Please attach a certified copy)

    Additional requirements:

    • Own reliable transport.
    • Work overtime when required.
    • Willingness to be utilised at different Heineken Beverages plants or facilities.
