Job description
We rebuilding our devops infrastructure from scratch based on lessons learned from our current stack. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who can bring their experience to leading that effort. We're looking to capitalise on the promise of immutable infrastructure; specifically coherence between development, test and production environments, development speed and cluster elasticity. We have at least 40 machines in AWS which we would be looking to transition to our new stack.

Requirements

• Ideally have opinions on containerisation, centralised logging, monitoring and security.
• Have a high degree of influence on design and implementation details.
• Experience with a cloud provider is also an advantage.

Job description
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to help us build our new data science modelling platform for market research. The product will expose you to a range of data science libraries from scientific Python, through to creating a modelling environment using a combination of ReactJS and Rails APIs. The job involves greenfield development of new services and interfaces as well and working with our existing modelling environment.

Requirements

• Experience in Ruby, Javascript and Python is advantageous.
• Any experience in data science using tools like Scipy, R, Matlab is advantageous.
• Based on experience, the candidate would have a high degree of influence on design and implementation details.
• A passion and talent for client engagement (either internal or external) anwho want to grow in fast paced and dynamic start up enterprise. The individual will be a team player with good leadership and communication skills who is self-motivated and driven to excellence. They will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and a creative and flexible attitude.
• We are looking for someone who is capable of working with international teams in different time zones; this comes with occasional work from home opportunities.
