    Solution Architect (Business Intelligence)

     

    Job description

    Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Solution Architect (Business Intelligence), IT in Paarl. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of technology solutions and mapping of business requirements to systems/ technical requirements to ensure alignment with the enterprise architectural plan. Normally reports to a functional head.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Analysed business requirements.
    • Interpreted requirements result in a solution proposal and facilitates vendor proposals.
    • Architecting, design, definition, planning, development, and implementation of end to end Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions (ETL, DW, ODS, Cubes, Analytics Models, Predictive Models, Data minimg, Presentation, Self-service reports, etc.)
    • Conducted benchmarking and feasibility studies.
    • Realised return on projects.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • 6-8 years experience implementing Data and Analytics solutions.
    • Experience in operational insights.
    • Expereince in building and deploying solutions in Cloud.
    • Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG or Retail will be an advantage.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Degree in Technology / IT

    Group Manager Asset Care

     

    Job description

    Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Group Manager Asset Care at their Pioneer Foods, Group Services, PFLS in Paarl. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and optimisation of the group asset care programme. Asset care related processes and measures are developed, standardised, and and implemented proactively. Effective alignment with information technology systems is ensured. Normally reports to Functional Executive.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Analysed business processes & asset needs of the group.
    • Developed strategic plan for the asset care needs of the group.
    • Asset architecture & structure is optimized.
    • Developed capital expenditure plans.
    • Ensured asset care programme implementation.
    • Aligned asset care, SAP PM, OEE, and DSM systems.
    • Assisted with identifying & implementing latest technology.
    • Ensured occupational health & safety.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    8-15 years Asset management experience in multi-plant/site environment.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with post graduate management or finance degree as added advantage.

    Manager Portfolio

    Job Description Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Manager Portfolio at their Pioneer Foods, Group Services IT in Paarl. The successful candidate will integrate projects in a portfolio; planning, appropriate project documentation, implementation and exploitation of business benefits for the organisation. Normally reports to Functional Manager.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Defined portfolio aligning business value, functional strategies and plans.
    • Initiated & conducted business analysis and provide sustainable solutions that supports business objectives.
    • Planned & reported portfolio of projects and managed risks.
    • Service procurement and Vendor management.
    • Stakeholder engagement and expectation management.
    • Reported actual benefits relative to intended benefits over the long term.
    • Management of team.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • Six to eight years experience in portfolio management (including program- and project management)
    • Experience in business operations, processes and systems, solid financial background a requirement, added experience in HCM would be an advantage.
    • Experience in aligning business strategy with IT strategy and initiatives.
    • Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG or Retail will be an advantage.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Degree in Technology/IT or degree in Financial Accounting
