(ACTUARIAL SCIENCE DISCIPLINE) 2018 – 2021
The FSB grants bursaries to matriculants and first year students for actuarial science studies through the University of Witwatersrand or the University of Pretoria, for easy communication and mentoring of the students. Those bursaries are targeted at previously disadvantaged South African students who are not able to further their careers in the Actuarial Science flied and will run from 2018-2021. The successful candidates will be required to enter into a work-back contract with the FSB proportional to the number of years they have been funded by the organisation.

The FS8 actuarial study bursary will cover the following
Experiential Learning
The bursars will be required to spend a minimum of 4 Weeks per year at the FSB during their vacation breaks for experiential learning.
Only previously disadvantaged South African citizens are eligible to apply for the bursary.
