1 x Accounts Payable Clerk - Western Cape at Rentokil Initial South Africa

Requirements

To support the finance team by performing a range of accounting and administrative tasks related to the accounts payable function.Ensure new approved vendors are loaded timeously onto the Navision system.

• Ensure branches adhere to sending through the relevant invoices and support relating to open items that have been receipted on Navision by the monthly cut off deadline.
• Ensure that all creditors’ reconciliations assigned are completed timeously, with detailed support for any reconciling items.
• Prepare payment listings and accounting journals based on creditors’ reconciliations completed.
• Support the delivery of OCF (operating cash flow) targets for South Africa and African markets by ensuring suppliers are paid in line with the agreed payment terms.
• Support the completion of the internal, external and BEE audits by providing requested deliverables timeously.

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric with relevant accounting degree/diploma (preferable)
• 2-3 years’ experience with accounts payable or general accounting
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with all candidates & key stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Microsoft Excel) and Google suite
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
• Microsoft Navision experience would be beneficial
