Requirements
A vacancy has arisen for a Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst within Procurement and Finance Departments

• Assisting with procurement related activities,
• Maintaining procurement related databases,
• Assisting with onboarding new vendors,
• Assisting with reviewing of vendor compliance,
• Assisting with inventory data analytics and reporting,
• Assisting with vehicle fleet data analytics and reporting,
• General office support, such as supporting shipping & receiving processes, import / export legislative & statutory compliance and processing supplier orders
• Assisting with monthly stock counts and audits
• Key Outputs and Accountability

Maintaining databases:

• Maintain contracts repository
• Maintain Vendor BEE database
• Assist with Vendor validation

Vendor Compliance:

• Review vendor terms and pricing for compliance
• Draft notices to suppliers
• Assisting with competitive bidding compliance in line with procurement policy

New vendors

• Assist internal customers with onboarding new vendors
• Review compliance to procurement policy

Data analytics and reporting

• Compile monthly supplier reports, order days vs. delivery days, open PO’s, price variances
• Stock on hand reporting
• Supplier pricing analysis
• Track payment terms
• Monthly transport costs analysis of logistics service providers
• Vehicle Fleet data analytics and reporting

General office support

• Assist the Import & Export process
• Assist and support domestic logistics requirements
• Reconcile monthly import & export costs
• Assist with ad hoc procurement and supply chain projects

Stock management

• Assist with monthly stock counts
• Review monthly branch stock counts
• Assist with closing all branch stock count variances

Qualifications and Experience

• BTech Logistics, Bcom / Bsc Supply Chain & Operations and or relevant CIPS Graduate
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience
• Business acumen
• Computer literate - MS Office, Windows
• Vehicle Fleet experience
• Sound understanding of logistics & distribution
• Sound Import & Export acumen
• Sound understanding of warehouse processes

Other requirements – Own vehicle and valid drivers licence
