    Distribution Sales Manager (Mobile Devices)

    Job description

    Key Responsibilities;

    • Manage Sales Managers across Africa, ensuring that each Sales Manager drive sales within their respective territories to achieve sales targets.
    • Assist and support Africa Sales Managers to establish sales in existing and new channels
    • Focus on selling all OEM and ODM brands in new and existing and new channels across the selected South African Markets, as well as the retail and franchise channels within key markets
    • Responsible for the successful achievement of both Revenue and Margin targets for Africa
    • Responsible for managing the Brightstar Africa Sales objectives throughout the team
    • Responsible for looking for additional business opportunities outside of mainstream channels, “innovating the status quo”
    • Responsible for managing financial plans, payment plans and any other logistics requirements
    • Responsible for the planning, managing and forecasting of all sales prospects
    • Responsible for all other market and sales related reports including trends analysis, competitive reports, and any market business cases where additional funding and support is required from Brightstar HQ or Global OEM’s
    • Support the in country Sales team and management ensuring that there is alignment in terms of OEM’s demand creation and supply together with successful sell in
    • Responsible for business development and additional projects from time to time as the business may require these
    • Responsible for finding new customers and additional service/channel streams to Brightstar Africa portfolio
    • Building and managing customer relationships across all levels within organisations and countries.

    Desireable;

    • An existing knowledge of the SSA Telecom market would be an advantage
    • Dynamic team member , with an ability to work well and cohesively with other team
    • Results driven, with a proactive attitude
    • Can establish and maintain trusted working relationships
    • Methodical and detailed work behaviour, can prioritise tasks and work under time pressure.
