DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understanding of the foreign exchange market as follows:

• Understanding of FEC (calculation of profits and losses, buying and selling);
• Ability to calculate FEC deals accurately and efficiently;
• Ability to quote FEC deals to clients accurately and efficiently;
• Ability to quote spot deals accurately and efficiently;
• Ability to calculate cross rates accurately and efficiently; and
• Understanding of foreign exchange terminology.
• Booking and confirming trades with clients professionally
• Growing the existing customer base and managing relationships of clients
• Responding to client queries in a timely manner
• Keeping clients updated with financial market news and movements
• Understand and quote basic money market rates
• Ÿ Establishing and maintaining of strategic alliances and networks
• Ÿ Assisting senior management with on-going retention marketing efforts
• Proactively manage client foreign exchange portfolios and write call reports
• Write currency market reports
• Reconcile P & L and collate turnover statistics

• Manages a fair workload quickly and efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Degree in Economics preferable
• ACI Certificate and FAIS Representative Examination
• Good MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word
